Diver Decompression Chambers MUSC owns 2 decompression chambers for diver support and safety. Both chambers are built to Pressure Vessels for Human Occupancy (PVHO) regulations and are IMCA compliant. The specifications are approved and certified by Lloyds Agency India. The chambers are fitted with foldable beds, 2-way communications systems (sound powered phones), hyperbaric fire extinguishers, low-profile hyperbaric lights and depth and therapeutic gauges. Two oxygen Built-In-Breathing Systems (BIBS) with over board discharge provide control for the administration of oxygen or gas mixtures without affecting the chamber environment. Observation portholes can view both the inner and outer locks. Custom ISO-Standard 20ft containers house the chambers and are kitted out with mixed gas panel and plates for umbilical connection. 2 Contact [email protected] for a quote. Survey Catamaran FARID 61 Specifications Length Overall: 9.98m Beam: 3.6m Draught: 0.4m Gunwale Height: 0.7m Deck Standard Wheelhouse 5.2m x 3.4m Long wheelhouse: 3.8m x x3.4m Weight (excluding engines) 3500kg Farid 61 is a boat of true offshore performance with rough weather capability. Space, speed, style and comfort, coupled with outstanding fuel economy are the vessel’s main features. This series is ideal for survey, extended cruising, patrolling and work boat applications. Farid was commissioned as a commercial fishing boat and is able to work safely in heavy seas. The lightweight materials used in her construction results in her 9.95m length weighing only 3.5 – 4.5 tonnes and drawing only 40 cm. This means that the hull moves very economically through the water using little fuel and creating very little wash. The large deck of 5.5m x 3.3m with the standard wheelhouse option provides space for all applications such as surveying, diving and commercial fishing. Farid is complete with a moon pool and heavy duty winch for lowering equipment below the hull and astern. The design of the twin hulls creates a very stable safe working platform. 3 Contact [email protected] for a quote. MUSC SURVEYOR Survey Catamaran Specifications Length Overall: 10m Beam: 4.87m Draught: <1m Wheelhouse 8ft x 12ft Max Speed: 24Knots The MUSC Surveyor is a 10m multi-purpose catamaran. She was commissioned to be built by Blyth Workcats Ltd (UK) in 2010 and has been on task recently as a dive support and shallow water geophysical survey vessel. A large air conditioned wheelhouse allows for a comfortable working environment in all conditions. Aft a 5 m x 5m covered working deck area makes MUSC Surveyor an ideal multi-purpose vessel and the dual hull design creates a very stable working platform. A shallow draft of less than 1m makes her ideal for operating in intertidal areas, shoals and estuarine environments 5 Contact [email protected] for a quote. Libra RIBs Specifications Length Overall: 8.5m Beam: 3.04 Weight: 1225kg Capacity: 20 persons MUSC owns 3 x Libra 8500 Rigid Inflatable Boats. They have been used for diving operations, security patrols and general short distance marine transport. As a dive boat they excel for both inshore operations and with support from larger vessels, offshore operations. The 7m deck space has plenty room for all necessary diver equipment (air cylinders, communications, umbilical storage etc.). These RIBs are also ideal for security patrols, with their manoeuvrability and speed, powered by 2 x 150 Horsepower Mercury outboard motors. 6 Contact [email protected] for a quote. Parker RIBs Specifications Parker 650 Length (overall) Internal length Beam (overall) Beam internal Tube diameter Maximum pax Parker 750 RS Length (overall) Internal length Beam (overall) Beam internal Tube diameter Maximum pax 6,50 (m) 4,92 (m) 2,49 (m) 1,39 (m) 0,45 (m) 8 7,5 m 6,36 m 2,75 m 1,46 m 0,53 m 12 MUSC owns 3 x Parker 650 and 1 x Parker 750 RS Rigid Inflatable Boats. These craft are utilised primarily for use in security patrols. Their worth comes in their speed and manoeuvrability with exceptional handling. These craft were recently deployed to safeguard diving and survey operations, warning off and acting as a physical barrier against encroaching local fishing vessels. 7 Contact [email protected] for a quote. Long Range Acoustic Devices (LRAD) Specifications Maximum Continuous Output 149dB SPL @ 1 meter, Aweighted Beam Width +/-15° @ 1 kHz/-3dB Communications Range: Highly intelligible speech transmissions over 2000 meters; Max range of 650 meters over 88 dB of background noise. Dimensions 25” W x 25“ H x 12” D Weight 44 lbs / 20kg Construction Moulded cross-linked polyethylene 6061 Aluminium. Long Range Acoustic Devices are an effective non-aggressive tool for warning off approaching vessels. The LRAD sends a powerful beam of audio over long distances. Warning tones, pre-recorded messages and also a live microphone feed can be transmitted. MUSC currently has 3 LRAD 500X devices. The LRAD can deliver clear messages over 2 kilometres. This allows a large perimeter to be established and the ability to take pre-emptive measures over potential threats. The intentions of your vessel can also be accurately transmitted when the receiving vessel is unresponsive on standard radio communications. Over shorter distances the LRAD acts as a non-lethal audio weapon. The intense audio levels are extremely painful when directed over short distances and will cause hearing damage. The maximum loudness of the LRAD is around 150dB which is far beyond the pain threshold of the average person. The 500X is light in weight at 20kg and can be easily transported as well as manoeuvred around the vessel. They are fitted with handles for accurate positioning of the acoustic transmission. 8 Contact [email protected] for a quote. Seabotix ROV Specifications Depth Rating: 300 Meters Seawater Length: 530 mm - 21 in Width: 484 mm - 19.1 in Height: 254 mm - 10 in Diagonal: 546 mm - 21.5 in Weight in Air: 13 kg - 28.7 lbs. MUSC owns a Seabotix ROV for underwater survey, reconnaissance and other remote tasks. The LBV300-6 has a powerful forward thrust with the addition of two forward outboard thrusters, giving theLBV300-6 a high level of capability in stronger currents and with longer tether. The LBV300-6 system is supplied with Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) colour camera technology. Coupled to the colour camera is a high intensity LED array providing bright white light throughout the 270 degree range of view. 9 Contact [email protected] for a quote.
