WARNING -To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury to persons: 1. This appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use, and before putting on or taking off parts. 2. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on, or near children, invalids, or disabled persons. 3. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer. 4. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces. 5. Never operate the appliance with the air openings blocked. GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS This product must be grounded. If it should malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This product is equipped with a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances. DANGER Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electric shock. Check with a qualified electrician or serviceman if you are in doubt as to whether the product is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the product if it will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician. This product has a grounding plug. Make sure that the product is connected to an outlet having the same configuration as the plug. No adapter should be used with this product. 01 Important Safety Instructions IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 1. Usage Environment & Do not use your Chair in an excessively humid or dusty environment, as it may cause electrical shock or machine trouble. & Do not use your Chair in room temperature higher than 40 C. & Do not expose your Chair to heaters, stoves or direct sunlight. & Do place and use your Chair on a flat floor level. Should you use the Chair in a cold room, do not increase the room temperature abruptly. It is recommended that you increase the temperature gradually to a normal Level. In the event that the Chair is stored in a cold place and is being CAUTION brought into a warm place, it is advisable to use it one hour later. Machine trouble may be resulted when a cold machine is being used in a warm room suddenly. 2. Suitable Users The following users must consult their doctor before use: & Those who are under medical care or are feeling unwell. & Those who are suffering from malignant tumours. & Those who are suffering from heart diseases. & Women who are pregnant or menstruating. & Those who are under medical rest or rest-cure ordered by doctors. & Those with spinal disorders, bent or abnormal spinal conditions caused bypast accident or illness. & Those who have high fever. 3. Safety Precautions During Use & To ensure safe and correct use of the Chair, do not operate the Chair without carefully reading this operation manual. 02 Important Safety Instructions & Do not use the Chair in combination with other therapeutic equipment or electric blanket, etc, as it may result in ineffectiveness or injury. & Do not allow children or pets to play around the Chair, i.e. behind the backrest, under the seat or footrest of the Chair. It may result in injury during operation of the chair. & Do not rest or place heavy objects on the Armrests, Footrest or Backrest. It may result in machine trouble or injury to the user should these objects topple. & Do not use the Chair when your body is wet. & Do not operate the Chair with wet hands. & Continuous long application of the massage at a position of your body may result in excessive stimulation and may be counter-effective. & Do not insert your hand or foot along the paths of the massage nodes during the operation of the chair, as it may cause injury to the user. & Always sit in an upright position during the operation of the chair. & You may place a blanket or towel over the backrest if you prefer a softer massage. & Using the massage chair as a bed is not encouraged. CAUTION & Do not apply massage nodes directly on the head, joints of elbows and & Suggested per usage time is 15 minutes. Suggested per usage time on a particular body part is 5 minutes. 4. When the chair Should Not be Used In the following events, please switch the power OFF immediately and disconnect the AC power cord from the electrical outlet. Contact our centre for servicing: & If the Chair is accidentally spilt with water or not in operation. Continuous use under these conditions may result in electrical shock. & If abnormal or severe pain is felt during massage, stop operation immediately and consult your doctor. & If you detect any malfunction or any other abnormal condition during operation. & If there is a power failure, injury may be caused when power is restored unexpectedly. & If there is severe lightning. Note: Lift the backrest pad regularly to check for tears in the upholstery of the centre cloth 03 Important Safety Instructions Do not use the Chair if the Upholstery of the Centre Cloth is torn. Remove the AC plug from the electrical outlet WARNING immediately. Continuous usage of the Chair in this condition may cause injury to the user or lead to electric shock. 5. Assembly and Repair of the Chair & Do not disassemble the back cover from the Chair. Touching the inside mechanisms of the Chair may result in electrical shock. & The Chair must only be serviced or repaired by our Service Centre. The user must not disassemble or repair the Chair himself. 6. Things to Note about Power Plug and Cord S Check that the voltage corresponds with the specifications indicated for the Chair (only for alternative current). & Do not disconnect the AC plug from the electrical outlet roughly. & Do not connect or disconnect the AC plug from the electrical outlet with wet hands. It may result in electrical shock or machine troubles. & When disconnecting the AC plug, pull it out by holding the plug and not by the cord. & Although the operation will be stopped automatically by the Auto-Timer function, do not fail to switch off the Main Switch after operation. & Do not place the AC cord under the Chair as it may damage the cord and result in fire or electrical shock. & Do not operate the Chair or tamper with a damaged cord or electrical plug. Contact our Service Centre for inspection. Use only attachments recommended by our company. & Do not use the Chair if the electrical outlet is excessively loose. 7. Caution for the Remote Control & Do not sit, step or place heavy objects on the Remote Control. & Do not drop the Remote Control. It is recommended to place the Remote Control in the Remote Control Stand when not in use. & Do not exert excessive force on the Remote Control. & Do not operate the Remote Control with wet hands. & Do not operate the Remote Control using sharp-edged or hard objects. This may result in damage. Unpacking of the Chair the massage Chair is packed with the Backrest folded forward. Please raise 60cm at least the Backrest to an upright position until a "click" sound is heard. 2. Placing of the Chair & Allow sufficient space in front of and behind the Chair for reclining purpose. & Make sure that there is an allowance of more than 60 cm behind the Chair and more than 30 cm in front of the Chair. CAUTION & Put a carpet under the Chair to prevent scratching of the flooring. & Make sure that there is no obstruction behind the Chair for a safe recline during operation. 30cm at least 3. Seat Cushion Installment & Connect the three plug in the seat cushion and the one in the seat support separately. 1. Connect the two pin cord oppositely( • • ). 2. Inserting the air pipe marked with the same color oppositely , the color mark should be in line with the outlet of the air pipe in order to prevent air leak(€ € • • ). & After the adhesive belt in the seat cushion is line with the one in the seat support, putting the seat cushion onto the seat support directly. • • € € • • 08 Preparation before Massage 4. Remote Control Installment 1. Inserting the fixing outlet of the remote control into the fixing shaft on the right armrest. 2. Connect the air pipe in the armrest with the one in the side base. 2. Put the armrest onto the side base rightly, then fix them by two bolts. (Picture B) 6. Moving the Massage Chair 1. hold the footrest of the massage chair and upward upheaval, causes the moving castor to be well-grounded, then push or draw the massage chair.(picture C) (C) 09 Preparation before Massage 7. Power On 1. Connect the AC plug to the electrical outlet. 2. Turn on the Main Switch located on the Electronic Control Box. CAUTION & Make sure that the AC cord is not placed under the foot of the Chair. & Make sure that all switches are at the OFF position (including the Main Switch) before the AC plug is connected to an electrical outlet. & If the Backrest rollers are located at the middle of the Backrest upon termination of the previous operation, they will return to their original position when the Main Switch is turned on again. 8. After Use & With the Auto-Timer function, the Chair will automatically stop after 15 minutes of operation, Please switch off the Main Switch after it. & To avoid malfunction of the Chair and accidents with children, do Electronic Control Box remember to switch off the Main Switch and disconnect the AC plug from the electrical outlet after use. How to Use the Reclining System & To Recline the Backrest Press the Reclining Down button until the Backrest is at your desired recline angle. & To Incline the Backrest press the Reclining Up button until the Backrest is at your desired incline angle. & To Lift the Footrest Press the Footrest Up button until the Footrest is elevated to your desired height. & To Lower the Footrest Press the Footrest Down button until the Footrest is lowered to your desired height. & To Reset the backrest and footrest Press the reset button, the backrest is up and the footrest is down to the initial position. CAUTION 11 & No finger or object should be placed in the gap between the Seat and the Footrest during the adjustment of the Footrest height. & There should be no obstruction in the paths of the Backrest and the Footrest during the adjustment of the recline angle of the Chair. Preparation before Massage 10. How to Adjust the Length of the Footrest The length of the Footrest can be adjusted to the comfort of the user, when the Footrest is in any position. Lift the Footrest Adjustment Lever, pull or draw the footrest to get the proper position and loosen the lever to lock the position . LONGER SHORTER NOTE: No finger or object should be placed between the Footrest Adjustment Lever and the Footrest. 11. How to Fold the Footrest 12. Sit deeply into the chair and rest your head onto the Headrest as the massage rollers move up and down the Backrest, to detect the height of your body all the time. 4. When you chose Programmes E--Music mode, you can adjust musicality. Press the or to adjust the massage degree. There are four massage degrees. Music Programmes Using Music Programmes 1. Put the earphone on your head, press the Play/stop button and the music will start. 2. Press the next button or the previous button to select your favorite music. . 3. If you want to stop the music , Please press the Play/stop button to stop it. Air Massager 1. Press the air massage button 2. Press the adjustment button to select air massage(in foot/calf/hip/arm). Select one massage mode from inside of the remote control, such as kneading( ), pressing( ),tapping( ). Press one massage mode, the Massage Chair starts to work, and the LCD will show you the corresponding pictures.(please see the FORM 1 for details) 4. After selecting massage mode, you can adjust the kneading and tapping massage speed by press button according your desire. (Please see the FORM 1 for details) 5. Press , you can choose the whole massage areas. Press ,you can choose shoulder or back or waist part. When it is chosen, it will show on the LCD screen. shoulder part the whole course It will give massage up and down from your neck part to the upper back. It will give massage up and down from your neck to your waist. Back part It will give massage up and down from your middle back. waist part It will give massage up and down from your lower back to your waist part. Backrest 5. Press or , the massage device of backrest will move up or down. On release of the button, the mechanism stops for spot massage. The pressing massage can' t spot massage. 6. If you choose auto shoulder individual. Press the or , optical sensor swill scan the curvature of your body, detecting the exact acu-points unique to each button can adjust the height of the shoulder. Vibrating massage Press the button , the massage chair begins to vibrate massage on calf . Press the button again to stop massaging. Press the button , the massage chair begins to vibrate massage on back. Press the button again to stop massaging. 16 Massage Programmes Air massage Press the button , the massage chair begins to air massage on foot&calf. Press the button again to stop massaging. Press the button , the massage chair begins to traction air massage on foot&calf. Press the button again to stop massaging. Press the button , the massage chair begins to air massage on hip. Press the button again to stop massaging. Press the button , the massage chair begins to air massage on arm. Press the button again to stop massaging. Set the Time of Massage The default timer is 15 minutes. Press the timer button to do time setting. One pressing will add 5 minutes. If the total time is over 15 minutes, it should reduce 10 minutes. Finishing If you want to stop massaging, press the button to stop it. To avoid malfunction of the Chair and accidents with children, do remember to switch off the Main Switch and disconnect the AC plug from the electrical outlet after use. 17 Ways of storage Ways of storage & Please keep it where it is dry and there's less dust. Damp and dust will shorten the machine's life and may become the causes of moldy or dirty marks. & Please keep away from direct sunlight or heating appliances like heat stove. The surface may change colour or lose high quality. & Hold the seat part when carrying the chair. Carrying by holding the armrests will cause armrests out of shape. & Use dry cloth to wipe it when shower cream(especially containing Sulphur) shampoo or hair cream infects the cushion. May make cloth change colour or leave dirty marks. & Don't use it for a long time, especially in hot summer. You should cool the machine properly, in order not to affect its life. Make sure the power is turned off and pull out the plug from the outlet when it is dept. Besides don't use wet hands to pull or insert the plug. To avoid electric shock. Don't use diluents, volatile oil or bleaching powder will cause cloth change colour or damaged. Use lukewarm water or thinner soapsuds (neuter detergent) drop into the soft cloth and then dry it to wipe. If the Chair still malfunctions or does not work , please switch off the Chair and remove the AC plug from the electrical outlet. Contact our Service Centre for servicing. Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the Chair by yourself. Sound of vibration The chair does not operate using the Remote Control Massage rollers stop moving Check the AC plug is firmly connected to the electrical outlet. Confirm that the main power is switched on. Do not lean too hard against the backrest. Working too long to make the mechanical structure’ stop working during the massage temperature too high . working is time out (Timer) or power off. Sound is too low. can not hear the CD music sound Check the earphone plug is firmly connected to the earphone outlet. The disc is not CD, That is maybe DVD .
