PROGRAMMING: Transmitters & System Options Transmitter(s) must be (re)programmed each time you wish to SELECT & ENTER FUNCTION PROGRAMMING. Once a Transmitter is learned (relearned) you then have 30 seconds to SELECT and ENTER a programming BANK , otherwise the system will exit programming mode.
To (re) Program a Transmitter : Starting in the OFF position and finishing in the OFF, toggle the Ignition Key ON and OFF 8 times quickly. Parking lights will activate after reaching the last OFF position.. *You now have 8 seconds to (Re) Program Transmitter by pressing Button #I (Lock) The parking light will flash once if Transmitter is new to system or twice if the Transmitter is being Reprogrammed. *NOTE: ONLY ONE TRANSMITTER CAN BE PROGRAMMED AT A TIME, THE TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING SEQUENCE MUST BE REPEATED FOR EACH NEW TRANSMITTER. Multi Transmitter Programming - To eliminate having to wait the default 30 seconds system time out period after each Transmitter is programmed, simply turn the ignition KEY to the IGNITION ON position, this causes system to immediately exit PROGRAMMING MODE. Any changes will automatically be saved. Park Lights will flash 8 times to indicate system has exited programming mode. NOW YOU CAN REPEAT THE TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE (IGNITION ON/OFF 8 TIMES then press the Lock button) * NOTE: A MAXIMUM OF 6 TRANSMITTERS CAN BE LEARNED Function Programming Automatically follows after each transmitter is programmed unless the ignition is turned to the ON position to exit programming mode altogether. AFTER PROGRAMMING THE TRANSMITTER YOU HAVE 30 SECS TO SELECT A FUNCTION IN BANK 1 OR SYSTEM WILL EXIT FUNCTION PROGRAMMING.
FUNCTIONS : Selecting & Changing the Programmable Options : Once the transmitter is (re)programming you can select & change any of the FUNCTIONS/OPTIONS in BANK. I. There are two ways to select & change FUNCTIONS/OPTIONS. MVS has an ‘AUTO-PROMPT’ feature which will automatically prompt you through each Function/Options until every one in that Bank has been Entered. This method forces you to go through each of the Functions/Options one at a time until one option in every Function has been selected. Once a selection is made the system confirms with 1-3 parking light flashes then automatically prompts (moves forwards) to the next Function/Options. You can choose to change every Function/Options in a BANK and the system will automatically exit programming after the last function has been selected or at any point you can turn the Ignition Key to ON position to instantly exit programming mode and save any changes. OR You can ADVANCE to a particular FUNCTION/OPTIONS by pressing Button # 4 (Unlock) on the transmitter. The UNLOCK button allows you to skip forward to the desired FUNCTION without having to reprogram every Function before it. *The status LED will flash from 1 to 10 times then pause to indicate which FUNCTION you are on. This is repeated until a selection is made or programming mode times out after 30 seconds. Example : Once you have programmed a transmitter (confirmed by 1 or 2 parking light flashes) pressing Button #4 (Unlock) 7 times will advance you to Function #7 –Horn Setting. The status LED will flash 7 times then pause then repeat 7 flashes until one of the 3 OPTIONS is selected or the system programming times out after 30 seconds.
To change options : Simply select the desired option by pressing the corresponding button on the Tx. OPTION #1 = Button 1 (LOCK) OPTION #2 = Button 2 (START) OPTION #3 = Button 3 (POUND#) ADVANCE FORWARD = Button 4 (UNLOCK) Park lights will flash the appropriate number of times (1,2 or 3 times) immediately after a transmitter button is pressed to confirm an option has been selected. You may exit programming and save changes any time by turning the Ignition key to the ON position MVS iI VERSION 2052
