Nahimic: let’s go through the basics Audio tab
The audio interface allows the player to adjust their settings with simple sliders. A global and central button turn on or off all the effects but it is still possible to turn on/off a specific effect by clicking its name. Six different effects are available. The user can increase the Bass level (Bass Boost), modify the trebles and medium (Treble Enhancer and Voice Clarity) in order to have a better listening experience. The Smart Loudness maintains a constant volume for all elements of the audio experience (dialogs, soundtrack, explosions, etc.) to make sure that they always sound really soft, balanced or really loud. By using the Reverb, the user modifies the sound depth. They can now experience the sound as if you were really in the studio, theater or another specific place. The last and most important is the Virtual Surround. The user has an immersive experience with virtual 7.1 sound on any stereo device.
Microphone tab
The microphone interface is simple. With only three buttons, the player is able to configure their microphone to get a higher sound quality. The first microphone effect is the Voice Shaper. The Voice Shaper applies an EQ filter to magnify your voice The Voice Leveler maintains constant vocals no matter the distance from your microphone.
The Noise Reduction removes the detected ambient noise on top of your voice. Finally, the Microphone Loopback checkbox lets the gamer hear their voice when Headphones are plugged.
Enrich your livestream! New tools for a personalized experience!
The HD Audio Recorder 2 is the ultimate tool for livestreams. Every livestreamer is now able to create content with a professional quality. They can also fully personalize their performance with a new feature: the Audio Launchpad. The Audio Launchpad allows players to use prerecorded sounds during a livestream. Viewers won’t see the Launchpad but they will hear all the sounds. They just have to use shortcuts to launch them. With this feature, livestreamers can create their own audio identity and interact with their audience. The livestreams will be more personal, animated, and will give a new sonic dimension to each feat.

New to a game? The Sound Tracker will be your best ally to navigate an unfamiliar environment. With its discrete design, the Sound Tracker is made up of a moving arrow in a «radar» circle. The arrow shows the direction of the loudest sound in real time. The Sound Tracker, in conjunction with the 360 audio, allows the player to detect the most important sounds.
The Sound Tracker gives a visual indication while in play: hear the sound, spot the sound!
Nahimic also allows all users to access an expert mode and customize everything. It gives advanced users multiple options to fine-tune all settings by keeping a user-friendly and intuitive interface.

Preset Profils
Different preset profiles are available to guarantee suitable sound settings for each situation. For example, a player can choose which profile is the best for the game they want to play from a list of 4 propositions.
That way, they will enjoy the best sound quality under any and all circumstances.
The EQ scales
The user can now go even further: under the Audio tab, by clicking on the arrow on the right of the interface, a new window appears with different equalizer adjustments. 6 predefined and independent EQ scales are available.
The last one is a personal EQ and is completely customizable: the user can do all the adjustments themself.
Device properties The user may also peruse the internal device properties by clicking on the speaker or microphone button.
With Nahimic 2, the properties of the operating system and audio driver are both displayed, allowing for a maximization of customization that is clear and simple!
