NAL 9602-LP Powered by TracPlus Ultra-low power consumption 50 channel GPS receiver with -160db sensitity Iridium 9602 transceiver Low latency GPS position reporting Low latency two way communications with remote configuration Optional Message Head available for text messaging Weighs less than 5 ounces The NAL 9602-LP is a small, low-cost satellite tracker designed for use with the Iridium satellite constellation. It is a self-contained unit containing an advanced 50 channel GPS receiver, an Iridium 9602 satellite tranceiver and an advanced micro-controller board. The 9602-LP measures 2.7” x 2.2” x 0.9”, weighs less than five ounces and can be attached to high-value assets such as vehicles, shipping containers, barges, railcars, trailers, or buoys. It is also being used to track environmentally demanding platforms including helicopters, fixed-wing aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, rockets, high-altitude balloons, ships, speed-boats, ground vehicles and hand-emplaced and air-deployed remote sensors. The 9602-LP can be used with a wide variety of GPS and Iridium antennas, including small vehicle patch antennas and larger aviation TSO dual-mode antennas, and requires an external power supply of between 6.5 and 32 volts. Dimensions 2.7” x 2.2” x 0.9” Easy to install Wide choice of antennas 6.5 to 32VDC input voltage range The 9602-LP can send either a standard or a 256-bit AES encrypted GPS report at a pre-programmed interval ranging from once every ten seconds to once every seven days. The interval can be changed remotely while the unit is in the field. There is an available serial port that can be used to configure the device or to support an optional message head. The 9602-LP also has discrete I/Os for external sensor interfaces. Emergency alert switch Discrete I/Os for input sensors Industry standard DB15 connector for serial configuration and power The 9602-LP has a guarded Emergency switch to alert the recipient of an emergency situation, and five LEDs to indicate the status of power, GPS fix, Iridium connection, SBD transmission and emergency mode. www.tracplus.com [email protected] USA: 866 533 0605 International: +64 3 477 8656 9602-LP Technical Specifications Mechanical Dimensions: Weight: I/O Interface: Antennas Interface: Cooling: Enclosure: 2.73” L x 2.17” W x 0.94” D 4.8 oz. 15-Pin D-Sub SMA female connectors Convection Aluminum Electrical Input Voltage Range: Input Nominal Voltage: Power consumption during standby: Power Input Type: 3.6VDC to 5.5VDC or 6.5VDC to 32VDC 5.0VDC Less than 65uA @ 5.0VDC External DC power Iridium RF Board Operating Frequency: Link Margin Downlink: Link Margin Uplink: Average Power Transmission: 1616 to 1626.5 MHz 13 dB average 7 db average < 1.0 W GPS Receiver Receiver Type: Accuracy: Update Rate: Start-up Times: Sensitivity: NEO-6Q, 1575.42 MHz (L1), 16-channel, C/A code 2.5 m CEP in good coverage 5 Hz internally 1 second hot-starts, 28 seconds warm- and cold-starts < 160 dBm Environmental Operating Temperature: Operating Humidity: 40oF to +185oF < 75% RH www.tracplus.com [email protected] USA: 866 533 0605 International: +64 3 477 8656
