It is recommended that users read all instructions before use. Introduction NCM is optimized for spheroid growth of a variety of tumor cells on the NanoCulture Plate (NCP). It is recommended to compare the spheroid formation abilities on the NCP by using both your own cell medium usually you use and our optimized medium (NCM). Medium should be stored at 4–8C after thawing and used within 6 months to avoid deterioration of the quality and for the best experimental results. Preparation of NCM NCM-M Basal and NCM-R Basal do not contain serum. FBS should be added to the NCM-M Basal and NCM-R Basal before use. The supplied FBS is suitable for spheroids formation especially for R medium. Pease don’t use in-house FBS in R medium. NOTE: If you prefer to use lower concentration of FBS please adjust concentration. However, lower concentrations of FBS reduce the efficiency of spheroid formation, especially serum free medium. NCM-M Basal and NCM-R Basal contain penicillin G (100 units/ml) and streptomycin (100 g/ml).
