Powerful and Reliable NAStorage
Ingrasys Network Attached Storage(NAStorage) is a highly reliable, easy to use, high performance and high cost-performance ratio business-use storage device. NAStorage can provide you professional data storage functionalities that only offered by high-end storage products but with extremely affordable prices. NAStorage is specifically designed for subsidiary companies or branch offices of group companies, small & medium-sized enterprises, small& medium scale data centers of various industry sectors, department-level data storage, and the secondary backup of the core data.
Ease of Operation Easy and Intuitive User Interface Simple user interface makes operation easy and clear. System administrators can handle and manage whole system immediately.
Rapidly Ready for Use Adopt advanced Zetta File System(ZFS), which creates or expands volumes rapidly. No matter how big the disk size is, volumes can be ready for use right after NAStorage setting up. There is no any long synchronization time that traditional RAID system has.
Multiple Data Protection Data Self-Validating Mechanism ZFS features itself of online data corruption detection and recovery. All data written into hard disks come with the CheckSum for detecting disk demagnetization or writing error. Once data error is detected, system will try to recover from parity or mirror areas. Thus the data reliability is highly enhanced.
Powerful and Reliable NAStorage
Snapshot Snapshot is a read-only copy of the data at a time. It can be applied to NAStorage’s folders, volumes and logistic disks without a limitation of the number of times. Taking a snapshot just requires very short time and will not have any influence on running services. By introducing Copy-On-Write technique, snapshot will not occupy any additional disk space until any changes occur on the original data. User can take snapshot manually or automatically by hour/day/week/month scheduling. These snapshots can easily be compared and analyzed. User can recover their data to a specific snapshot time point if data corrupts.
Clone Clone is a writable copy of snapshot at a time. Any changes of a clone will not have effects on original file system or contents of the logistic disk. Clone is a technique based on Copy-On-Write as well, that is to say, will not occupy additional disk space until any changes occur on the original clone.
Standard Rsync Supported NAStorage supports standard Rsync protocol. It can synchronize files and directories, and only replicate changed files with other Rsync-supported devices to achieve cross-platform data replication and synchronization.
Remote Replication NAStorage ‘s remote replication is a block-level replication. It can fully backup file systems of volumes, logistic disks and permission settings. Once first complete backup is done, later backups will only add changed data for saving bandwidth and time. When the main system fails, the redundant system prepared by replication can be on line and take over immediately, or you can recover main system from redundant system directly.
Powerful and Reliable NAStorage
High-Efficiency Data Management Data Compression NAStorage supports on-line block-level data compression, it can be used on folders and logistic disks for saving storage space .
Large-Scale Enterprise’s Centralized Management Request Fulfilled System Configuration Script Edition Most configurations and permission settings of NAStorage can be edited by a script file and then import to the system. In this way it can set up large quantity of NAStorages efficiently in order to save time and manpower.
Complex AD Domain Supported NAStorage supports complex AD domain management in large-scale enterprises not just simple AD domain. Under these kinds of domain architectures, NAStorage can be registered to the parent domain; network administrators can set up access permission to branch offices’ users, the users can follow the rules that network administrator sets up to access NAStorage. NAStorage can satisfy most AD domain environments.
User Behavior Audit NAStorage’s audit function can record the times and the numbers of times that users open file, edit file and delete file. System
Powerful and Reliable NAStorage administrators can also track down the numbers of times that each user reads/writes share folders, record the number of accessing times of a share folder within a time interval. Moreover, this function can audit users’ abnormal activities, when a user’s number of abnormal activities is high, NAStorage will mark this user and notify system administrator. System administrators can configure the preservation days of audit records according to their demands. As for cyber-attacks from local computers with virus or outside Internet hackers, NAStorage can enable system event log to record these attacking events.
Disc Server By mounting external USB optical drivers, ISO files can be mirrored into NAStorage and mounted. NAStorage can share out these ISO files as share folders, it doesn’t even have to mount ISO files into NAStorage but sharing data in the discs directly for some special applications.
