It must be configured with a speed of 19200bps, 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit and disable any flow control. Push the configuration switch during almost 2 seconds to activate the configuration mode, until the red power supply led will switched off. Then, when the switch is released, the configuration menu will appear in the HiperTerminal or Teraterm. NDV6 Configuration menu The equipment configuration will be modified with the keys from 0 to 9, and the current configuration will appear at the end of the menu.  Key 1: Serial channel 1 configuration. With the key 1 we switch the channel 1 configuration between RS232 → RS422 → RS485 → RS485 full duplex  Key 2: Serial channel 2 configuration. The same than the last point, but for the 2nd serial channel.  Key 3: Channel 1 termination resistor. This enables the 120Ω termination resistor with the RS485 communication mode. With the RS232 communication mode this resistor will remain disabled, and with the RS422 communication mode the resistor will remain enabled.  Key 4: Channel 2 termination resistor. The same than the last point, but for the 2nd serial channel.  Key 5: Audio channel 1 input configuration. It changes the audio input from unipolar (-IN1 to Ground) to differential input.  Key 6: Audio channel 2 input configuration. The same than the last point, but for the 2nd audio channel.  Key 7: RS485 Dwell time. It fixes the time the RS485 signal remains active before to change to high impedance after the last write operation in the RS485 bus. We can select the next values: 10µs, 20µs, 50µs, 100µs, 200µs, 500µs, 1000µs y 2000µs.  Key 8: Restore default configuration. The default configuration is recovered.  Key 9: Save and Exit. The current configuration is saved and then we leave from the configuration menu. The red power supply led is switched on after that.  Key 0: Exit and configure remote equipment. The configuration menu of the remote equipment is showed without saving the changes in the local equipment. With this option we can change the remote configuration from the local equipment. We can leave from the configuration menu in three different ways:    With the key 9 “Save and Exit”. Timeout. We have 1 minute available to change the menu configuration. After that time, the equipment leaves itself from the menu configuration. The changes are not saved by this way. Leave from the menu in a manual way. Push the configuration switch almost 3 seconds. The changes are not saved by this way. ADILEC Enginyeria, S.L.
