High-Speed Half-Tone Transmission The NEFAX 791 provides clear, crisp photo (half-tone) documents up to 70% faster than other gray-scale fax machines (actual savings vary).
Copier Functions Front-Loading Universal Cassette(s) The NEFAX 791 comes standard with a universal paper cassette and supports 300 sheets of letter-size paper. The cassette also supports letter-wide, legal or ledger (11” x 17”) size paper. Three optional universal cassettes can be employed to maximize the paper capacity to 1200 pages.

400 x 400 Resolution The superfine resolution and automatic smoothing function insures the highest quality document reproduction. The NEFAX 791 scans, communicates and prints at 400 x 400 lpi, unlike competitive units that use repeat recording to create pseudo 400 x 400 reproduction.
A NEFAX 791 begins transmission immediately after the first page is scanned (conventional facsimiles do not start transmission until all pages have been scanned and stored into memory), saving you time and money.
You can easily command the NEFAX 791 to perform a variety of functions—the 791 helps you every step of the way with its simple-to-use LCD display. With the NEFAX 791, the user can choose from the “Pop-Up” menu to tell the unit what to do and report to the user the status of particular functions or areas.
The NEFAX 791 is equipped with two megabytes of memory standard. Upgrades are available to increase capacity to four, eight or 14 megabytes. Automatic Reduction The NEFAX 791 recognizes a transmitted image that exceeds the effective recording length and automatically reduces it (up to 70%) to fit the image on the appropriate paper. The user can select the desired reduction range by a simple software \setting or let the NEFAX 791 automatically handle reduction according to paper size availability. Photo and Text Imaging
Collation The NEFAX 791 is designed to collate outgoing (transmission) and all incoming (reception) pages. The NEFAX 791 does t| his by design, not by using valuable memory as competitive units do.

Merged Document Report The NEFAX 791’s merged document report prints the first page of a document for identification of the report. The merged image prints transmitted and nontransmitted documents.

Ledger-Size Capability Fax documents and drawings up to 11” x 17” in size print out full size on plain paper at 11” x 17”. The NEFAX 791 automatically selects 11” x 17” paper for your print out when needed. Two-to-One Feature The NEFAX 791 employs the unique feature by sending two letter-sized pages as a one-page letter. For communication, this reduces the overall transmit time needed, thus reducing phone line costs. For copying, this reduces the number of pages printed and saves both supply and office file space.
Imaging unit access and replacement couldn’t be easier. Just flip open the front panel to access the long-lasting imaging unit. This means all maintenance operations are right at your fingertips. EPA Energy Star Compliant This feature reduces power consumption in the stand-by mode. The NEFAX 791 has attained EPA recommendations for the level of power saved.
The NEFAX 791 offers many outstanding features that make it a small office or departmental copier. Among those features: Enlargement/Reduction – the user can select the “zoom” feature with a range of 50% to 200% in 1% steps. Also, fixed enlargement/reduction is available in steps of 129%, 121%, 75%, 71% and 64%. 2-to-1 Copy – allows user to copy two letter-sized pages onto one letter-sized page. This can save on office filing space as well as supply costs. Multi-Copy with Sorting – up to 99 copies of a document can be made. The copies can automatically be sorted, saving valuable amounts of time and money.
