Installation Instructions for 980FSJNTRNP Neutron HS390_ 1.6 Fusion Jack™ GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION: This product is ETL listed and suitable only for indoor dry locations and approved for use at any height above the finished floor. CAUTION - RISK OF FIRE This product requires installation by a qualified electrician. Before installing be sure to read all instructions and TURN THE POWER TO THE ELECTRICAL BOX OFF. Install the Lamp 1A 1B COAXIAL CABLE SOCKET FIXTURE HOUSING LAMP SOCKET ASSEMBLY NOTE: To reduce the risk of a burn or electric shock during relamping, disconnect the power to the fixture. Use MAX 6 Watt, MR16 GX5.3 LED Lamp. 1 2 Push the lamp pins completely into the socket holes. WARNING: RISK OF FIRE Never replace a LED MR16 lamp with a regular MR16 Halogen lamp. A regular MR16 Halogen lamp will melt the acrylic shade. 1 Feed the fixture coaxial cable through the fixture housing. Slide the fixture housing down the cord and rest it onto the socket assembly. Adjust the Fixture Height 1C 2A ALLEN WRENCH FIXTURE HOUSING SET SCREW 1 M4 SET SCREW 2MM ALLEN WRENCH CONNECTOR LAMP PROTECTION RING 3 Loosen (DO NOT REMOVE) the three M4 set screws on the fixture housing with the provided 2MM Allen wrench. 4 Insert the lamp protection ring completely against the lamp. 1 Back out (do not remove) the set screw on tip of the connector with the provided Allen wrench. 2B ALLEN WRENCH SET SCREW 1D 2 FIXTURE HOUSING M4 SET SCREW 2 Back out (do not remove) the set screw on the conical connector with the provided Allen wrench. 2C 2 MM ALLEN WRENCH GROOVE 4 GLASS SHADE 5 Push the grooved section of the acrylic shade into the fixture housing. 6 Ensure that the groove is aligned with the set screws and tighten the three M4 set screws with the provided 2MM Allen wrench; alternate screws before tightening all the way to ensure that the shade remains centered. NOTE: Do not clean the acrylic shade with alcohol or alcohol base cleaners which will damage the shade. 2 3 Cut the coaxial cable to the desired length. 4 Gently twist the end of the coaxial cable between thumb and forefinger. 2D 2G INNER WIRE SURFACE SIGHT HOLE 8 PLATE 9 ALLEN WRENCH Tap the conical connector on a hard surface with the set screw facing down, so the plate inside drops into place. 5 2E 8 Look into the sight hole on the top of the connector to make sure that the inner wire is contacting the end of the connector. 9 Hold the coaxial cable in place and tighten the set screw on tip of the connector with the provided Allen wrench. Make sure this set screw connection is tight. 6 CONICAL CONNECTOR 2H OUTER WRAPPED WIRE STOPS HERE Feed and push the coaxial cable into the conical connector. The coaxial cable will come to a stop point after being inserted 3/4" into the conical connector. 6 2F 10 INNER WIRE STOPS HERE 7 10 2I WRINKLE ON OUTER WRAPPED WIRE 7 Firmly tighten the set screw on the conical connector. Keep pushing the coaxial cable into the connector while rotating the connector to ease feeding the inner wire into the tip of the connector. The outer wrapped wire will start wrinkling while being inserted another 1/2" into the connector. 11 11 3 Pull the coaxial cable toward the fixture to smooth the wrinkles.
