ENHANCED SATURATION Integral paddles beneath the impeller gather concentrated detergent solution from the bottom of the tub. The solution is sprayed back onto the laundry as the impeller moves. 2. T  OP-TO-BOTTOM SOAK Meanwhile, a detergent solution pours directly onto the load. Because the system uses less water, the impeller tumbles clothes thoroughly, so the load is soaked in detergent solution, from top to bottom. 3. SCRUBBING ACTION During the cycle, the impeller and wash basket rotate in opposite directions, creating a “blooming” action in the wash that tumbles clothes more effectively. Turn the cycle selector knob using the following combination— This sequence must be performed in 8 seconds while leaving ½ second between each click. Select the sales demo by turning the cycle selector knob clockwise until the rinse and done status lights are on Press START. 4. The lid will lock and a demonstration of wash action and spin will begin. 5. Press PAUSE to unlock lid. 6. Unplug the washer from power to end demo mode. Control Panel Demo During this demo, the console will start a light dance and the controls will be locked. 1. Press POWER to turn on the washer. 2. Turn the cycle knob to Clean Washer with affresh®. 3. Press WASH TEMP, then SPIN SPEED, then WASH TEMP and then SPIN SPEED. 4. The control panel demo will begin. 5. Power the washer off or press CANCEL to exit the demo. Washer Spin Demo During this demo, the washer will proceed through a series of spins. 1. Press POWER to turn on the washer. 2. Turn the cycle knob to Clean Washer with affresh®. 3. Press WASH TEMP, then EXTRA RINSE, then WASH TEMP and then EXTRA RINSE. 4. The spin demo will begin. 5. Power the washer off or press CANCEL to exit the demo. Keep it sold Make sure you cover this checklist with each customer who purchases a high-efficiency top load washer. It’s important that customers new to highefficiency cleaning understand how it differs from agitator top loads. ✔ Clicks and sounds at the beginning of the wash cycle are normal. This is the washer measuring the load size. Also they will hear the lid lock and unlock. ✔ The washer doesn’t fill with water right away. It takes about 2 minutes for the washer to determine/measure the load size before water begins flowing into the wash tub. ✔ Don’t forget to use HE detergent! ✔ It is normal for some of the load to be above the water line. ✔ The wash tub doesn’t completely fill with water like agitator washers. ✔ Load garments evenly around the basket.
