BENEFITS: New vertical power strip line provides power solutions for racks and cabinets. Vertical power strips are available in two heights and feature the unique VersaClamp™, designed to allow a variety of mounting applications in any EIA standard rack or cabinet. Power strips are offered in 15- and 20-ampere models with surge or non-surge protection, twist lock or standard plugs, and circuit breakers. A 30ampere model is available in a 66.2 inch length (not surge protected). The Universal Cabinet/QuadraRack Power Strip Bracket mounts power strips to CPI’s QuadraRack™ Four-Post Frame, as well as non-CPI cabinets.
VERTICAL POWER STRIP UPGRADE Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI) now offers a complete line of vertically-mounted power strip solutions for racks and cabinets. These new power strips offer an expanded range of features and options including surge protection, circuit breakers, and standard or twist lock plugs. At the core of the offering is a streamlined, black power strip that is available in two lengths; 66.25 inches and 38.50 inches with 20 and 10 outlets respectively. These two power strips are fitted with unique patent-pending brackets (called Versa-Clamps™) that allow various mounting options ---giving more versatility to equipment installations. The Vertical Power Strip for Racks is designed to provide power along the full height of racks 4 feet high and taller. Versa-Clamp mounting brackets provide a 6.5 inch standoff from the rack channel allowing plug and service access for all rack-mounted equipment. Easy rack mounting to channel provides flexibility in vertical placement of brackets. Offset Rack Mounting Brackets, available in 9.1 inch and 11.7 inch lengths, are available separately for mounting two or three power strips side-by-side, or for providing additional depth beyond the included Versa-Clamp’s 6.5 inch depth. The Vertical Power Strip for Cabinets is also designed to provide power along the full height of cabinets 4 feet high and taller. Two Versa-Clamp mounting brackets fasten the power strip to the cabinet’s horizontal mounting rail, providing multiple mounting configurations inside of CPI MegaFrame®, SlimFrame™, SteelFrame and Seismic Frame™ cabinets. An additional mounting kit is required for mounting power strips in the 66 Series Cabinet. The Universal Cabinet/QuadraRack Power Strip Bracket allows power strip mounting to CPI’s QuadraRack™ Four-Post Frame or to non-CPI cabinets. This unique bracket is attached between the power strip’s Versa-Clamp and the cabinet’s equipment mounting rails.

Power strips are sold separately and ship with appropriate Versa-Clamp mounting brackets. Power strips and brackets are black and have a 10’ cord. Mounting hardware is included with the Vertical Power Strip For Cabinets. The 10- and 20-ampere power strips are UL Listed 60950. The 30-ampere power strip is UL Recognized. VERTICAL POWER STRIP UPGRADE The patent-pending Versa-Clamp™ mounting bracket for racks provides a 6.5 inch standoff from the rack channel allowing plug and service access for all rackmounted equipment. Two or three power strips can be mounted side-by-side using the Offset Rack Mounting Bracket.
The Versa-Clamp (center) fastens the power strip to either the inside or outside of a cabinet’s horizontal mounting rail, allowing the power strip outlets to face front, back, inside or outside.
The Universal Bracket attaches any of the cabinet power strips to CPI QuadraRacks or non-CPI cabinets.
Offset Rack Mount Brackets attaches to rack power strips to mount two or three power strips side-by-side or to provide additional mounting depth. Illustration shows 9.1” and standard 6.5” brackets.
