AKAI MPK SERIES USB/MIDI KEYBOARD CONTROLLERS The MPK25/49 include 12 MPCstyle drum pads, 48 samples via 4 pad banks, Full Level and 12 Level functions on pads, Swing, Note Repeat and Arpeggio functions, MMC/MIDI start stop transport buttons, expression pedal in, footswitch in, pitch bend, mod wheel and more. Tap Tempo and time-division buttons allow for realtime control of Note Repeat and Arpeggio clock speeds. The MPK25 has 34 assignable controls, 12x 360° knobs and 4 virtual buttons. The MPK49 has 76 assignable controls (accessed via banks), 8 full-sized sliders, and 8 full-sized 360° rotation pots. The MPK61 adds 16 pads w/4 banks for 64 samples, key-split, and more. The MPK88 has many of the same features as the MPK61 but with 88 fully weighted hammer action keys. The MPK MINI features 8 MPC-style drum pads with two banks, 8 Q-Link knobs, arpeggiator, 4 global settings, USB power, Octave up/down, sustain button, and more. AKAI APC SERIES ABLETON PERFORMANCE CONTROLLERS These controllers work seamlessly with the Ableton Live music software system, with bi-directional communication between software and hardware. There is no mapping required, every button, knob (APC40 only), and fader is pre-mapped and a clip matrix with multicolor lighting displays all current clip status on the trigger pads. The APC40 has a crossfader (for A/B transition between loops and clips), transport control, 2 banks of 8 knobs for global parameter control (1st set) and track parameters (2nd set). Both models are constructed with metal chassis for a solid feel and have USB plug-and-play connection for Mac or PC. Ableton Live Akai Professional APC Edition software is included with the controllers.
