COMPOSER THTR
IN-WALL HOME THEATER SPEAKERS
Cinema is all about creating an immersive reality with sound detailed every bit as rich and full as real life. Our 30” Tall THTR speakers leverage larger woofers in a three-way design to enrich every audible element in home entertainment. Tall, slim, and charming—the THTR collection was designed to carry a non-intrusive aesthetic that will transform home theater systems of all shapes and sizes into the perfect setting for entrancing audiences in their favorite movies.

MID-RANGE
TREBLE
DUAL PLANE STABILIZATION TRIPLE THREAT
In a three-way design, each driver is allowed to specialize in the frequencies it can handle best. Deep and accurate bass requires larger cones for displacing more air, so two outer 6 ½” woofers are dedicated towards receiving the bass signals. This further allows the additional two 6 ½” woofers to be committed to cover the mid-range. Lastly, the smaller and fast moving DPSD™ tweeter can be crossed over to focus on creating detailed high frequencies. The result is high definition audio at it’s finest, with cross overs tuned by the founders of the in-wall speaker themselves.
CENTER STAGE
The Composer THTR speakers bear a fully integrated Left-Center-Right (LCR) speaker right in the center of the 30” tower. The positioning of the LCR on the speaker allows the most audible portion of the speaker to be positioned at ear height for optimal listening clarity in a home theater setting.
The tweeter has been pinned with an additional suspension point at the center of the dome to prevent side to side movements, allowing for the tweeter to oscillate faster in a more stabilized manner. This allows us to cross over the tweeter an octave lower, enabling both wider dispersion of higher frequency sounds and greater linear travel.
BIGGER, BETTER, LOUDER
The THTR contains four 6 ½” woofer cones built with superior hand-selected pre-stressed woven Kevlar™ (THTR68) & Glass Fiber (THTR66). Both of these materials are lightweight and durable, which makes them ideal for rapid oscillation in achieving tonal accuracy. Kevlar is one of the finest woofer choices for it’s damping property, which is known to disperse frequencies more evenly. This trait results in enhanced accuracy of the most audible sounds in movies.

DIRECTOR MULTI-FINISH
IN-CEILING SOUND SYSTEM
With the growing popularity of minimalism in home interiors, ardent designers have turned to skeptics at the thought of placing speakers in ceilings alongside contemporary lighting. The Director MultiFinish System is a minimal-aesthetic fully distributed in-ceiling audio system engineered to provide deep ample bass and even sound coverage from a port-tuned box subwoofer and an arrangement of in-ceiling speakers in multiple finishes to mimic the appearance of stylish recessed lighting.
MORE WITH LESS
Acoustically, doing more with less space is challenging. In order to preserve the highest quality audio standards in the restrictive area of can lights, the Origin Acoustics engineers have implemented the same technologies of the Director Collection in the 3” D38 speakers. Pre-stressed woven Kevlar, the patented DPSD™ tweeter, and the X-Wave™ butyl rubber surround combine in sets of speakers to deliver unmatched accuracy in a minified speaker.

COSMETIC CONVENTIONS
The growing popularity of modern and minimalist interior designs has drawn an eye to the ceiling. There are over 1.5 billion recessed lights installed in American homes that have become a standard piece of décor patterns in kitchens, hallways, and rooms of all sorts. By mimicking the aesthetic of the most popular recessed lighting fixtures, the Multi-Finish In-Ceiling audio system keeps designer’s whims of intrusive aesthetics at bay. LOW BAND PASS
A DUELING EFFORT
The dual woofer design has many benefits in the production of powerful bass within a ceiling cabinet. More output can be achieved with two woofers than with one of the same size. Since the two woofers are facing in opposition to one another, the vibrations produced from their output cancel each other out resulting in a stable enclosure that won’t rattle within the ceiling.
The size of the gap between the two woofers in the in-ceiling subwoofer determines which frequencies can pass out of the gap. By carefully constructing this gap, the resonance frequency of the woofers can be altered and tuned to allow only bass waves to travel through the port opening. This results in enhanced and efficient bass response from the Director In-Ceiling Subwoofers, creating a full performance in unison with the D38 speakers.
SEASONS LINE ARRAY
LANDSCAPE SPEAKERS
With more and more people enjoying the great outdoors and refurbishing their backyards, it’s no wonder that landscape audio has become one of the fastest growing categories in whole-home distributed audio. The landscape line array draws upon the acoustical design popularized in live concerts to deliver a revolutionary outdoor audio solution that will enchant listeners with an intimate amphitheater performance in the privacy of their own backyard.
THE NEIGHBORS DON’T HAVE TO KNOW
A CONCERT-LIKE PERFORMANCE
The Line array configuration offers huge advantages in a backyard area for its dispersion pattern. When each woofer is stacked vertically, each smaller driver can achieve vastly wider horizontal dispersion without an increase in vertical dispersion. This makes the landscape line array capable of delivering an intimate sonic performance into backyards without burdening surrounding neighbors. DAISY CHAIN AWAY
With a 70V wiring configuration, the Seasons Landscape Line Array is able to perform in unison with all other landscape satellites and burial subwoofers. Available in white and camouflage brown with mounting options for a ground surface or walls, the Line Array expands the options for delivering a surround sound performance in any yard. These have been tested to run on the same line for up to 30 speakers with a 50 watt tap setting!
The Line Source driver configuration has been popularized in concert settings for its advantages in producing intelligible directional output regardless of a person’s position in the venue. In leveraging a stack of smaller drivers in a J-Curve assembly as opposed to a single larger driver, the dispersion pattern of each driver overlaps to significantly boost output over a given distance.
WEATHERPROOF
The rugged poly-composite enclosure ensures that the speaker internals are fully protected from damaging water and strong UV rays. No matter what the weather conditions are, the Landscape Line Array has been engineered to perform—backed by the Origin Acoustics lifetime warranty.
COMPOSER SUBS
IN-WALL SUBWOOFERS
No audio system is complete without the presence of deep powerful bass. Since inventing the inwall subwoofer back in the 1980’s, the Origin Acoustics team has learned many tricks of the trade. The Composer In-Wall subwoofers are a true culmination of over 30 years in engineering the highest performing subs within the lowest profile enclosures.
TAKING THE HEAT
The oversized front-mounted heat sink on the front of the Origin Acoustics 12” Composer In-Wall Subwoofer further dissipates obstructively high temperatures from the voice coil and magnet. This allows the fast-moving aluminum cone to oscillate with more linearity, preserving the integrity of the music being produced. LOW DOWN ON ALUMINUM
Powerful bass production requires large amounts of power to create sound and much of that power is burned up as heat en route to the voice coil and magnet. The thermal conductivity of aluminum is 3,300 times greater than that of Kevlar™ or Glass Fibre, making it an excellent choice for all Origin Acoustics subwoofer cones. The aluminum woofer transfers heat away from the voice coil/magnet, creating a substantial gain in output efficiency (SPL). AIR TO BREATHE
Sufficient air space is a necessity for large subwoofers. Wall construction constraints dictate the maximum depth and height of a sound enclosure. In comparison to fiber board (MDF), aluminum is six times as dense and twelve times as stiff, making it an excellent choice for our Composer In-Wall Subwoofer enclosures. Less material is required, allowing for more air space, while strength is preserved for sturdiness and ease of installation.
STEADY AND SOLIDIFIED
Your home audio system is not like the one in your car—it is not “cool” to have your walls literally shake. All Origin Acoustics In-Wall subwoofers are finished with a pure aluminum front faceplate that easily mounts into the enclosure with anti-vibration rubber mounts. Once locked into place with a low profile magnetic grille, there is no tolerance for wall tremors created from the supercharged bass output. DIGITAL CALIBRATION
Digital Signal Processing (DSP) initiates an active crossover that can alter the speaker’s voicing to reduce harmonic and intermodulation distortions. The 500Watt SUBA500 Subwoofer Amplifier provides listeners with multiple DSP presets to enhance Composer InWall subwoofers performance in movies as well as critical listening systems.
