Start-Up  Season Format  Player Registration and Player Cards  Roster Requirements  Home Team Requirements  Slide Tackles  Annual General Meeting Season Format – Men’s and Women’s  The season is 18 games for provincials divisions and 20 games for non-provincial divisions unless otherwise stated.  For the Seeding Round and Regular Season, the standings are calculated as follows:  3 Points for a Win  1 Point for a Tie  0 Points for a Loss Season Format – Co-Ed  The season is 20 games long  18 game Regular Season  2 game Playoffs  For the Regular Season, the standings are calculated as follows:  3 Points for a Win  1 Point for a Tie  0 Points for a Loss  Plus Fair Play Points divided in two  We currently cannot show the Fair Play Points calculated into the standings and will provide updates periodically Player Cards  Each player must provide a player card to the referee before playing. NO CARD, NO PLAY, NO EXCEPTION!  An individual, coach or injured player, etc, must have a card in order to be on the bench  Player cards have the team names on it. It is the individuals responsibility to ensure their player card has the correct team name on the card.  Player card costs:  New player - $20.00  Returning player with old card - $10.00  Returning player without old card - $25.00 Roster Requirements  Each team must have:  A minimum of 12 players on the roster at all times  A maximum of 25 players on the roster  A maximum of 20 players at each game  Co-Ed Specific requirements - A minimum of 2 males and 2 females, not including the goalkeeper, on the field at all times.  If you wish to remove players, please email the office with your team name and who you wish to remove.  Removing players is an administrative function  The player removal deadline is January 31, 2017  No player may be removed after this date. Players may be added as long as there is room on the roster Slide Tackles – Co-Ed  Slide Tackles are not allowed and will be sanctioned with a yellow card! Using the Website 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Schedules and Standings Player Statistics Yellow Cards Guest Players / Play-Ups Coach Score Entry Team Captains and Coaches Contact List Schedules and Standings  There are two places that you can look at your team’s upcoming schedule: 1. On the Home Page of the website 2. Under the Schedules and Standings tab - You can also look at the Standings here Here is the quick view Schedule You can search for your team name using the quick search function to view all upcoming games! Click this tab on the left-hand side of the website Select your Seeding Round Group or Regular Season Division On here, you can see the Standings, Top Goal Scorers and the Schedule for your entire division. If you click your team name, you can view your division’s Standings, your team’s player statistics and schedule. Player Statistics  Player Statistics under the Schedules and Standings tab will show:  Team Roster  Goal Scorers  Yellow Cards  Red Cards  Guest Players All player statistics from your team’s games will be consolidated (combined) here. Any player that has played at least one game for your team will be listed under the Player Stats table. This shows you all the details for an individual game: game time, location, teams, scores and game details. The colored boxes will also show was colors your team should be wearing for the game. By clicking the Game Report, you can view all player statistics, including: who played, scored, and received cards Click the Map to connect to Google Maps rd 3 Yellow Cards  If a player receives 3 Yellow Cards in 3 separate games, that player is suspended for one game, no fine and must sit out their team’s next immediate game.  Failure to do so will result in an addition suspension and fine to the player, and a forfeiture and fine to the team.  It is the team and player’s responsibility to keep track of yellow cards! Yellow Cards and Red Cards  If a player receives 2 yellow cards in one game, it is a red card.  The yellow cards cancel each other out and do not count towards a player’s season total  However, if a player receives a yellow card then receives a red card for an offense other than receiving two yellow cards in a game, that original yellow card stays on the player’s record. Viewing Yellow Card Statistics  To view the Yellow Card Database, go to the Discipline tab  This database will combine all yellow cards a player has received in the:     Seeding Round Regular Season Playoffs Guest Playing  It is the team AND player’s responsibility to ensure they are eligible to play. The database is intended as a resource but will always be an incomplete listing. Red Cards  If a player receives a red card, they must leave the field and vicinity immediately. Failure to do so may result in an additional suspension and/or fine  The referee will keep the individual’s player card and submit it, along with a report, to the CUSA/COED office  * Game Abandonments – The referee will keep both sets of player ID cards during game abandonments.  The player and team captain will be emailed the suspension length and potential fine amount from the league’s Discipline Coordinator, along with the next steps Guest Players / Play-Ups – Men’s Open Division (Premier, Division 1 to 6)  Guest Playing can only occur within the Club and on a higher Club team a maximum 6 times per season  For example, a division 5 Callies player can Guest Play on a division 3 Callies team.  If your team does not have any Club Affiliations, you CANNOT guest play on other teams. Guest Players / Play-Ups – Men’s Masters Divisions (Master’s Elite and Premier)  Master’s Elite  Players are eligible to Guest Play in Division 3 and Higher a maximum 6 times per team.  Master’s Premier  Players can Guest Play into Master’s Elite or the Open Division a maximum 6 times per Team.  Players aged 45 and Over can Guest Play into the O45-1 Division a maximum 6 times per team, providing there are no more than 2 at one game. Guest Players / Play-Ups – Men’s Masters Divisions (Master’s 1 to 4)  Players can Guest Play into any higher Master’s Division and Open Division a maximum 6 times per team.  Players aged 45 and Over may play into any O45 division an unlimited amount of times, providing there are no more than 2 at one game. Guest Players / Play-Ups – Men’s Open and Master’s Division Transfer Deadline  July 31st is the Transfer Deadline!  If an Open or Master’s Player plays their 7th Play-Up Game BEFORE July 31st, they will be automatically transferred onto that team.  If an Open or Master’s Player plays their 7th Play-Up Game AFTER July 31st, they will be an ineligible player. The player will be suspended and the team will receive a forfeiture/suspension. Guest Players / Play-Ups – Transfer Charges  There are charges affiliated with transferring teams within a season:  Within Club Transfer Charge - $10.50  Non-Club Transfer Charge - $26.25  There is no charge to switch teams in between seasons. Players are considered “Free Agents” in between the Outdoor and Indoor seasons. The league will only block registrations if the individual owes fees, uniforms, etc to their old team. Guest Players / Play-Ups – Co-Ed  Players may only guest player a maximum of 6 times PER SEASON  In the Regular Season, the general rule of thumb is that you can only Guest Play up to 2 divisions higher, in your own division, or 1 division lower Guest Players / Play-Ups – Women’s Division  Goalkeepers may Guest Play an unlimited amounts of times in the Women’s Division.  Goalkeepers must have their Shirt # on the Game Sheet identified as GK  All other players may play a maximum 6 times per team. Viewing Guest Player Statistics  To view how many times a player has Guest Played on another team, go to the Resources tab  Click the Play-Up Rules page  It is the team AND player’s responsibility to ensure they are eligible to Guest Play. Coach Score Entry  Team Captains and Coaches have the ability to enter scores online right after their game rather than waiting for administration to enter the scores  You can enter game scores, Fair Play Points and all player statistics  Either team can input scores, but it can only be done once! Using Coach Score Entry Input your email and the password. Click the IND Score Entry button on the website The password is the 6-Digit Code, next to the IND Score Entry. Do not use your personal password as it is looking for a season password. Select your team If there is a game available for Score Entry, click the Score Entry button Enter the scores for both teams. Inputting the Caution and Send Off numbers is not required Click Submit Scorecard to save By clicking the “Enable roster reporting for XXX” button, you can input the game details To input individual game statistics: 1. Click the check boxes under the Attended column 2. Use the Up/Down arrows to increase the Yellow Card, Red Card and Goals columns PLEASE NOTE: If you enable roster reporting, the number of goals recorded in the Goals column must match up with the number of goals scored or the score will be changed! Team Captains and Coaches Contact List – Men’s and Women’s  Men’s and Women’s Coaches and Managers will be provided with the link for the Contact List prior to the season.  We will only give out the link to listed Coaches and Managers on the roster! Team Captains and Coaches Contact List – Co-Ed  The Information for Team Captains Page Contains Important Information, such as: - Current Season’s Contact List - Please Note: The Contact List is Password Protected. Logging In Roster Schedule and Attendance Uniforms Notifications BonziTeam Mobile App What is BonziTeam?  BonziTeam is an online team communication tool, similar to Teamsnap  It allows you to view:  View your roster  Invite players to register for the season online  View your schedule and attendance  Get notifications and make announcements  BonziTeam is linked directly with our website. Changes to the schedule and roster will automatically be changed Logging In Click Member Login Log into your member account. If you have played before, you will have a player account already. Click the Forgot password? Button to get a temporary password sent to your email. Select BonziTeam You will be taken to the MultiTeam Dashboard, where you can see all current and previous teams Click on the current season’s team Click to go to the dashboard If you are on the wrong team, click your name at the top and select Multi-team Dashboard Roster The roster will allow you to: 1. See all registered players 2. See all players an online invitation was sent to 3. Track log in times to see if your players are using BonziTeam The Roster will be sorted accordingly: 1. The Team Owner will be listed on top 1. A Team Owner can also have a Coach and Player designation 2. Any listed coach will be listed next, alphabetically by First Name 1. A Coach can also have a Player designation 3. Any player registered to your team will be listed next, alphabetically by First Name 4. Any player that has guest played for your team will be listed last, alphabetically by First Name. These players do not count towards your roster total. Inviting Players to Register Online Coaches can invite players to register online via BonziTeam. This saves players the trouble of filling out the written copy of the waiver form and sending that in Click Add new roster members at the top of the Rosters page You can input the player’s First Name, Last Name, Email Address and Role. Click the Add Roster Members and Send Invites to Email Provided button to add players All players that have agreed to the waiver or been sent the invitation will be listed under the Existing Roster Members section. A player or coach cannot be sent the invitation twice using this function The import function will allow you to import a previous team’s roster. This save the trouble of manually writing out the information Review the roster. If there is anyone you do not wish to send an invite to, click the Trash Can to the right of their name Registered or Not?  All players that have registered and been sent an email invitation will be listed on your BonziTeam roster. How do you tell if they have registered or not?  There are two ways to tell if a player has agreed to the waiver: Click the Print Rosters and Medical Releases button at the top of the page. 1.  It will bring up a couple different reports you can access. Each will give information such as ID numbers and contact information  All registered players will be listed on these reports  The second way is to look at the roster. If a coach or player has a grey circle to the right of their name, then they have registered NOT REGISTERED. Is not okay to play for the current season REGISTERED. Is okay to play for the current season You can remove players that DO NOT have the grey circle. Only administration can remove players who have already agreed to the waiver. Schedules and Attendance The Schedule will give a month by month view of a team’s schedule. It will also allow you to input items into the schedule, such as practices and other team functions The Attendance feature allows for coaches and players to set their attendance for upcoming games. Schedules By clicking on an event in the Schedules feature, you can bring up more detailed information: 1. Game date and time 2. Location, including a link to Google Maps 3. Attendance tracker 4. Home/Away 5. Coaches and players can make additional comments 6. The Coach Score Entry is available for previous games through the Schedules as well You can add Games, Practices or Events to add new items to the schedule You can download the schedule into your phone or online calendar You can also download a PDF of the schedule and print it off for yourself Attendance The Attendance feature allows for coaches and players to set their attendance for upcoming games. By clicking the box next to the individual’s name and under the game date, they can set their attendance to: 1. 2. 3. 4. Blank (no response) I’ll be there! I can’t make it. I’m not sure yet. Your team name goes in the Team: space and your opponents goes in the Opponents: space 3. List coaches in the Team Officials space 4. List player alphabetically by last name, including their ID number 5. List any guest players in the Guest Players section Game sheet notes: 1. All players must be listed on the game sheet prior to the game. 1. No player can be added to the game sheet once the game has started 2. Players arriving after the start of the second half cannot play 2. At the end of each game, the referee will give a copy of each team’s game sheets. 1. Prior to the referee handing back copies, please check over the statistics (ie. Goals and cards). Changes to the game sheets cannot be made after the game. CUSA/COED Specific Game Rules are Listed on the Back of Every Game Sheet! Fair Play Point Deductions – Men’s and Women’s  Administration will automatically deduct Fair Play Points for each Red Card handed out, as follows:  Minus 2 FPP for each Denying Obvious Goal Scoring Opportunity (DGO) and Receiving Second Caution (RSC)  Minus 8 FPP for each Offensive, Insulting or Abusive Language/Gestures (OIA)  Minus 15 FPP for each Violent Conduct (VLC), Serious Foul Play (SFP), Spitting (SPT), or Boarding (BRD)  Teams will also be deducted Fair Play Points for any defaults and forfeitures that happen throughout the season. Teams failing to do so may be subject to disciplinary sanctions.  Sanctions in future seasons could include but not be limited to:  Removal from the league  Removal of fans and/or certain players from the team  Application of fines and/or performance bonds onto the team Playoffs – Co-Ed  Each team gets 2 Playoff games to finish the season, but only the Top 4 teams in each division will compete for the Division “Championship”  Teams with below-standard Fair Play Points over the course of the season AND during the Playoffs, as set out in the CoEd Rules and Regulations, and Discipline Code, may be held back from advancing in the Playoffs on a case-to-case basis  The top 2 teams in each division will win 2 personalized team soccer balls! Rescheduling Policy and Procedure  At the beginning of each season, teams have the ability to request dates off and preferred days to play.  Once the season has begun, if a team wants to move a game, they will need to follow the rescheduling policy and procedure  Contact your opponents to see if they agree to rescheduling the game  Come up with some dates that work for BOTH teams to move the game to  Let the office know these dates and we will try to find a field  There may be some charges to reschedule a game:  More than 7 business days – No charge  3-7 business days - $150.00  Less than 3 business days - $300.00 Questions and Closing Comments?
