[email protected] www.ashtead-technology.com Nexus Mk3 Multi/Single Mode Card ROV / ROTV Multibeam Transmission System Key features ● ● ● Accepts 2 multibeam sonar systems Supports any multibeam head using high speed (P)ECL data up link Operates on single or multimode fibres Applications ● The Nexus MkIII multibeam transmission system , developed by the MacArtey group, is used for transmitting high speed digital sonar data from multibeam sonar heads installed on ROV or ROTV systems. The system consists of a 19' rack mounted top side unit, and a subsea PCB assembly for installation in existing underwater housing. ● ● ● Multibeam surveys using ROV mounted sonar heads Sub sea mapping MCM Dredging and Trenching The system can transmit data from up to two multibeam heads on one or two optical fibers (SM or MM). The low speed down link control data for the sonar head will be transmitted through the ROV system multiplexer.
