Theory of NOKIA cables for MT-BOX Nokia have only 2 types of flash interface configuration. 1st type is one row Like on nokia 6300, 3110c, 3500, 7500, – in one row vertical Picture is for example!!! On different model flash interface is on different places on the plate! Or like nokia 3250, 5200, 5300, 7390 – in one row horizontal Picture is for example!!! On different model flash interface is on different places on the plate! 2nd type is in 2 rows 2 rows zigzag vertical like on nokia 6085, 6125, 6136, 6151, 6630, 8800arte Picture is for example!!! On different model flash interface is on different places on the plate! 2rows zigzag horizontal like 6120c,6131,6233,6234,6280,6270,6680,7370,7373,E50,E60 Picture is for example!!! On different model flash interface is on different places on the plate! NOW WE WILL SEE CAREFULLY THESE 2 TYPES OF FLASH INTERFACES 1st is ONE ROW Here we have a 8 pins who is numbered from 1 to 8 without 5. He is : 1.Not used for MT-BOX 2.TXD from phone = RX from BOX = YELLOW WIRE FROM 10 PIN CABLE * 3.RXD from phone = TX from BOX = GREEN WIRE FROM 10 PIN CABLE * 4.RXD2 from phone = TX2 from BOX = GRAY WIRE FROM 10 PIN CABLE * 5.Not used 6.VPP = VPP from BOX = BROWN WIRE FROM 10 PIN CABLE * 7.MBUS = MBUS from BOX = ORANGE WIRE FROM 10 PIN CABLE * 8.GND = GND from BOX = RED WIRE FROM 10 PIN CABLE * * ALL COLORS IS LIKE ON A PICTURE DOWN FOR 10 PIN CABLE FROM IP-MART. For properly connecting wires need to take a multimeter and to find where is GND. Once you find GND you can numbering all another pins. Only in a 6500 series at this time horizontally pins is a mirrored! Normal is : 4 , 8 , 3 , 7 , 2 , 6 , 1 6500 is : 1 , 6 , 2 , 7 , 3 , 8 , 4 Now I will write colors for a 8 pin cables from ip-mart. He is: 1.Not used for MT-BOX 2.TXD from phone = RX from BOX = YELLOW WIRE FROM 8 PIN CABLE ** 3.RXD from phone = TX from BOX = ORANGE WIRE FROM 8 PIN CABLE ** 4.RXD2 from phone = TX2 from BOX = NOT WIRE FOR THIS SIGNAL ** 5.Not used 6.VPP = VPP from BOX = BLACK WIRE FROM 8 PIN CABLE ** 7.MBUS = MBUS from BOX = RED WIRE FROM 8 PIN CABLE ** 8.GND = GND from BOX = BROWN WIRE FROM 8 PIN CABLE ** ** ALL COLORS IS LIKE ON A PICTURE DOWN FOR 8 PIN CABLE FROM IP-MART. ALL COLORS CAN BE CHANGED FROM IP-MART WITHOUT NOTICE!!!! 1ST YOU NEED TO CHECK FOR PROPER COLORS IN THIS DOCUMENT AND YOUR CABLE!!!!! Now will see 2nd type – in 2 rows Here theory is same like in another type: Here too we have a 8 pins who is numbered from 1 to 8 without 5. For properly connecting wires need to take a multimeter and to find where is the GND. Once you find GND you can numbering all another pins. And again colors for a 8 pin cables from IP-MART. That is all who need to know everybody for signals in the phones. Now I will show you different pinout on battery. 1 all of you need to know - + terminal on battery in nokia phones always is at the end of plate!!!!!! Don’t forget this!! st 1st type is on many standard battery: BL-4C,BL-5C,BL-6C HERE FROM LEFT TO RIGHT IS VBAT BSI GND 2nd type battery is: BP-6M in 6280 and pins are the same. 3rd type battery is: BP-6M in N73 and pins are the same. VBAT BSI GND 4th type battery is: BL-5F in N95 VBAT GND BSI COLOR OF WIRE IS THE SAME ON ALL!!!! VBAT IN 10 PIN CABLES IS A BLACK WIRE BUT IN 8 PIN CABLE IS A BLUE BSI IN 10 PIN CABLES IS A BLUE WIRE BUT IN 8 PIN CBLAE IS A GREEN GND IN 10 PIN CABLES IS A RED WIRE BUT IN 8 PIN CBLAE IS A BROWN Now is time to talk about resistors inside and their connection. That is all what you need to know. Now you can make any cable work alone. All cables can be make like for n95 with 1 resistor and 1 diode. Then he will work fine. Griffin Team 2008©
