PRODUCT FEATURES 1 cutting guide • Blades: stainless steel • ON/OFF switch • Oil and cleaning brush How to use the comb guide: Very practical, the cutting guide guarantees equal cutting length. To increase the cutting length, push the cutting guide up. To reduce the cutting length, push it down. The selected length is displayed at the back of the appliance. 1. To install the batteries: Open the battery compartment located on the back of the appliance at the bottom. Slide the cover toward the end. Insert the batteries (2 x AAA) as indicated in the battery compartment. To replace the cover, line up the slots and slide it up until it ‘clicks’ into place. Using alkaline batteries ensures better performance and a longer life for the appliance. Remove the batteries from the appliance if you will not be using it for long periods or if the batteries are dead. This will help extend the life of the appliance. Replace all batteries of a set at the same time, don’t mix old and new batteries, don’t mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeale (nickel cadmium or nickel metal hydride) batteries. 2. To turn on: Push the ON/OFF button.
MAINTENANCE Regular cleaning will maintain the optimal performance of the appliance • Remove the comb guide after use. Rinse it under running water and dry thoroughly before storage or use. • To make cleaning easier, the blades of the appliance can be removed. Make sure the appliance is turned off. Hold the appliance with the blades pointing up and remove them by pressing the top of the blade. (Fig. 1) • Carefully brush the blades using the cleaning brush to remove hair. • After cleaning, switch the appliance on, and oil the blades by adding a few drops of the oil supplied over the blades. Only use the lubricating oil supplied with this appliance as this is specifically formulated for high speed trimmers and does not evaporate or slow the blades.

Never use them in cribs, children’s beds, pushchairs or playpens. The thin film may cling to the nose and mouth and prevent breathing. Store the unit in a dry place. • Never immerse the unit in water or any other liquid. • Do not use the unit if it has fallen or if it appears to be damaged. • Do not leave the unit unattended when it is switched on. • Use only accessories recommended by Conair. • This unit is not intended for use by people (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or by persons who lack experience or knowledge, unless they are supervised or have been given instructions beforehand on the use of the unit by a person responsible for their safety. • Children should be supervised to make sure they do not treat the unit like a toy. Before disposing of the unit, remove the cells and batteries and take them to a place intended for this purpose. Check beforehand that the cells and batteries are fully discharged.
