GENERAL DESCRIPTION Atlas Sound Model C12A is a professional quality coaxial loudspeaker for use where full range music and voice reproduction are desired. The competitively priced unit assures smooth frequency response in a high power handling mode. For best results, enclosures with a volume of 3 cu. ft. (including Atlas Sound Models Q4612 and QF612) are recommended. Additional Q Series enclosure models with a volume up to 6 cu. ft. will satisfy requirements with different low frequency emphasis. The loudspeaker will also provide outstanding performance when front or rear mounted in vented or sealed enclosures. Unique transformer mounting bracket is included with each unit for convenient mounting of high quality transformers Models HT-87, HT-82, HT167 and HT327 (order separately). Amplifier output wiring connections to the loudspeaker are by screw terminals. Loudspeaker weight is 9 lbs. 5 oz.

ARCHITECT & ENGINEER SPECIFICATIONS The loudspeaker shall be 12" diameter, coaxial Atlas Sound Model C12A or approved equal. Each unit shall consist of a high performance 12" low frequency and 4" piezo high frequency driver. Power rating shall be 65 watts with a frequency range of 40 Hz-17 KHz. Impedance shall be 8 ohms. Magnet shall be a 32 oz. ceramic unit
and the voice coil diameter shall be 11⁄2" (38mm). Basket shall be made of cast metal. Loudspeaker shall be capable of front and rear mounting in sealed or vented enclosures and weigh 9 lbs. 5 oz.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION 61 Series. Attractive steel baffles feature concealed loudspeaker mounting studs for easy installation and a clean appearance. Available in screw-mount and hardware-free torsion spring (T) version. Models 61-8W and T61-8W mount standard 8" (203mm) loudspeakers; Model 61-12W accommodates standard 12" (305mm) loudspeakers. All units are of two-piece welded CRS construction (20gauge trim ring, 22-gauge perforated grille) and are finished in textured white. 62-8 Series. Versatile steel baffles mount standard 8" (203mm) loudspeakers via concealed loudspeaker mounting studs. Series is offered in screw mount or hardware-free torsion spring (T) version. Construction is one-piece, 24-gauge CRS finished in textured white epoxy. Note: For proper support, torsion spring grilles should not be used with 8" loudspeaker assemblies exceeding 5 lbs.

Units are finished in textured white epoxy with a black loudspeaker subplate. Available in standard screw-mount or torsion spring (T) versions for 8", 12", or 15" loudspeakers as noted.

The 164 Series includes attractive beveled edge baffles featuring a square loudspeaker cutout. A separate loudspeaker mounting plate provides for an extended, “no leak” bass response. Large perforations in the protective screen simplify repainting.
