With a minimum of emissions this stove can cook for large households and larger groups. The stove is completely stable and works well with large pans and kettles. The stove barrel can be touched any time while burning and is completely safe for families and curious small children. As with our other stove, the NorthFire NFL can be safely used indoors and completely smoke free.

NORTHFIRE™ STOVES (FAN/FORCED AIR TECHNOLOGY) NorthFire™ unique fan driven system makes all our stoves smoke free. Our stoves are delivered with an innovative solar charged battery. The battery provides power to the fan in the stove, which increases the level of oxygen in the inner chamber significantly. The result is that temperatures up to 1.100 Celsius can be reached in approximately 3-5 mins. We have conducted three documented tests for boiling water compared to normal charcoal stove and a kerosene stove. In tests, 1kg of wood gives one hour of cooking time. The stove will burn all types of biomass - materials such as dried leaves, roots, branches, charcoal, peanut shells, straw, twigs, corncobs, rice husks, sawdust, wasted papers and other flammable substance. Because of our Fan Technology, these are usually readily available, which eliminates the need to travel long distances to collect fire wood. Very low cost of fuel. Will burn any type of biomass with high efficiency (pellets, leaves, branches, wood, charcoal, dung etc.)With the fan, pellets can be conveniently used with the NorthFire™ Stove. This reduces fuel costs dramatically. In addition to holding 8 patents, we use unique materials in our design and have implemented gas dynamics technology in our stoves. This makes our stoves safe to handle and be carried while burning.
