 Note: Backup the data to other HDD before updating the firmware. Hornettek Media Players will require HDD format after firmware update. 1. copy the” install.img” file to your USB storage device 2. Connect your USB storage device to Hornettek Media Player 3. Turn on Hornettek Media Player and choose “Setup” Menu 4. Under “Setup” menu, go to “System” category, go to “System Update”, then select ”System Upgrade”. 5. Media Player will reboot by itself and start updating firmware in around 10 seconds.
