NovaRoam EH900 Mobile Router TM
NovaRoam EH900 Mobile Router uniquely combines mobility, extensive communication coverage area, security, data throughput, and superior network flexibility to provide an ideal solution for demanding wireless networking applications.
Quickly create wireless mobile mesh networks ▼ Embedded mobile ad hoc networking (MANET) technology facilitates robust communication links between nomadic nodes ▼ Peer-to-peer mesh networking technology extends the reach and improves the flexibility of your wireless network ▼ Spread spectrum radio technology enables secure, far-reaching data communication ▼ Minimal up-front investment required with no recurring fees
NovaRoam’s embedded mobile ad hoc networking technology automatically establishes intelligent communication links with neighboring NovaRoams. If a direct link from source to destination is unavailable, the peer-to-peer mesh network topology allows data to “hop” through intermediate nodes until reaching the intended recipient. As a result, users – or the entire wireless network - can move arbitrarily and remain connected in the most dynamic of environments. Furthermore, this ad hoc network does not require any existing infrastructure and can be deployed rapidly. Far-reaching communication is made possible by NovaRoam EH900’s proprietary spread spectrum waveform technology, excellent radio performance, and operation in the 902-928 MHz frequency band. NovaRoam EH900 is capable of closing point-to-point communication links of 25 miles and beyond with proper installation. Several levels of security help safeguard NovaRoam data. NovaRoam’s frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) radio signal is inherently difficult to intercept or jam, while its IP and MAC address filtering prevent unauthorized NovaRoam users from accessing the network. Finally, 128 bit AEStype encryption ensures that mission-critical data is not compromised. For long-range and mobile applications that require a flexible and efficient wireless networking solution, the answer is clear: NovaRoam EH900. Nova Engineering, Inc.
