ABOUT NIVOPRESS NIVOPRESS N submersible hydrostatic level transmitter consists of a special breathing cable (containing capillary tube and stress resistant inlet) and a probe. There are two different designs of the stainless steel probe: with ceramic flush diaphragm and stainless steel diaphragm behind a plastic protection cap. The level metering is based on the measuring of the pressure difference between the hydrostatic pressure of the liquid head over the diaphragm and the actual atmospheric pressure. This pressure difference is converted into 4 … 20 mA current in the 2-wire version and 0 … 10 V DC voltage in the 4 - wire version. Easy installation and wiring is ensured by the use of the complete set of accessories. For outdoor measurements the application of over voltage protection (OVP) is suggested. To ease installation the use of terminal box (with or without OVP) is recommended serving as terminal for the wires and for the breathing tube. The settings of a HART capable instrument can be reprogrammed by the user in case if the application's conditions alter. For some types with HART communication the pressure and temperature values can be accessed through different addresses. The user can recalibrate the instrument if it is needed.

CABLE HOLDING ACCESSORIES Serves for fastening the probe in two versions: NAA-209 type: provides a solution for hanging the cable without slipping and risk of rupture. NAA-105 type: cable holding assy that can be fixed to the ceiling. CABLE TERMINAL BOX The NAA-101/102 plastic cable terminal box is to be used for cable extension. The box allows connection and grounding of the shielded cables of the probe. The NAA-102 box comes with built-in OVP 12/33 overvoltage protection unit. OVERVOLTAGE PROTECTION The OVP 12/33 unit protects the site instrument while the OVP 32/33 unit protects the signal processing unit in the control room.
