OVERVIEW Kview 8 is an easy to use, standalone multi-viewer unit which is ideal for high quality truck and studio monitoring. It’s an ultracompact processor that’s ready to be used out of the box, without any assembly or configuration. It has 8 3G/HD/SD-SDI autosensing inputs and a single multi-viewer output (Simultaneous High Speed Digital and 3G-SDI). No external converters are needed to monitor multi-viewer output both is SDI and low cost HDMI monitors. Kview 8 offers exceptional display flexibility and outstanding space and energy efficiency, using a 1RU half width frame with silent ventilation for installation within studios and OB Vans. The multi-viewer can be used for small installations with one or two displays, and in much larger configurations using multiple units. Kview 8 units feature cascading inputs to connect additional modules and display up to 32 sources in one display. It comes with a comprehensive alarm module which allows you to monitor the following events: Loss of video signal, loss of audio, audio overload, audio in-silence, video black and video freeze. Alarm notification can be configured to be displayed on the screen or use SNMP for remote notifications. Additionally, users can configure the system to send an email, play a sound, etc… Embedded audio can be monitored using 1 analogue and 1 AES audio output (can be selected independently). Kview 8 can be remotely controlled using the provided application using Ethernet 10/100 or USB connection. Local operation can be performed by on-board OLED display and keyboard.

EXTENSIVE ON-SCREEN INFORMAGraphical elements can be configured to create the most convenient layout to monitor your input sources. Elements like: audio meters, dual label, border, time-code and dual tally can be easily configured per individual box using Multi-viewer control application. Settings can be stored on the unit’s memory to be easily recalled while operating in standalone mode.
CONFIGURATION Kview 8 comes with a complete software application to configure and control all the features. With the software application you can create layouts, resize and position any live video window and configure which of the graphical OSD available elements are displayed on the screen. This is a Windows application that comes free with the equipment.
FLEXIBLE LAYOUT EDITING Multiple Kview 8 units can be cascaded to build large and multi output control rooms. Using the provided Muti-viewer Control application you can create different layout to be attached to physical Kwiew 8 units. You can combine all the video sources making groups with different units to fit your monitoring needs. Up to 32 video sources can be combined in one single output.

Kview Alarm is a Windows application witch allows monitoring SNMP alarms sent from Kview 8 devices. Kview Alarm allows automatic e-mails sending when some alarm is generated while monitoring a system. It is also possible to establish a sound notification when alarms are received.
