The NVR5100 Series network video recorder is purpose-built for the demands of high resolution, high frame rate, and high reliability video recording and playback. Fully integrated and systemized with Pelco’s Endura® IP Video Surveillance system, the NVR5100 provides fault tolerant, scalable, and expandable recording for video, audio, and data.
Designed with reliability in mind, the NVR5100 Series provides fault-tolerance by employing RAID 5 disk management across as many as 12 hard drives. In addition, a hot-swappable drive feature is included that automatically configures the drives when installed. The NVR5100 will continue to perform at peak performance, even during an error condition. Diagnostics are systemized with other Endura products and reported to designated system users. Users can also view real-time diagnostic information to prevent a failure from occurring. Dual-redundant, hot-swappable power supplies round out the reliability features of the NVR5100 Series, ensuring maximum system uptime.
The NVR5100 Series is capable of continuous, schedule, alarm/ event, and motion recording. Pre- and post-alarm, event, and motion recording is also available and is fully programmable on a per-channel basis. The NVR5100 Series maximizes storage efficiency using EnduraStor™ technology. This user-selectable option records and retains real-time video for a designated delay period. After the delay period, recorded video is pruned to a lower frame rate, freeing valuable storage capacity. All alarm or motion based video is kept at its original recording rate. As an alternative to time-lapse recording, EnduraStor makes real-time video available when users need it most. The NVR5100 Series offers both unsecured and secured modes. The secure mode uses a proprietary key system to prevent unauthorized devices from communicating with an NVR5100 Series over the Endura network.
