The OAsys OBX1000 High Capacity ODF is a 900mm x 300mm ETSI standard rack for optical distribution. The racks are available in 42U (2000mm) or 47U (2200mm) sizes and are able to accommodate up to 74 or 82 OAsys Splice and/or Patch Modules. The rack comprises of a frame, side and rear panels, doors and a central patchcord management system. Modules can be purchased pre-installed into the rack by Prysmian, or separately to suit the required application on day one or at a later date for expansion. A range of accessories are available for cable clamping and fibre/patchcord routing.

OBX1000 Racks OBX1000 Standard Racks The OAsys OBX1000 is a high capacity ODF for up to 984 fibres. The rack is able to accommodate up to 74 (42U) or 82 (47U) OAsys Splice and/or Patch Modules. The rack is supplied with doors, side panels, a rear panel, adjustable feet and a central fibre management system for the routing of patchcords. Modules can then be fitted to the left or the right hand side of the central management system as required.

OBX1000 Racks with Multi Cable Fixing System Pre-fitted The OBX1000 High Capacity ODF can be supplied with a Multi Cable Fixing system pre-fitted into the top or base of the rack to allow the fixing of up to 40 cables. The system is 7U in height and takes the place of 7 storage pockets. A rack must be ordered with the unit fitted in the factory, as it cannot be fitted at a later date.

Cable Clamping and Routing OBX1000 ARS Cable Clamp The OAsys OBX1000 ARS Cable Clamp is used to anchor the cable to the rack and route the fibres onto the Modules. The ARS is suitable for cables between 12 and 36 fibres. 10 metres of routing tube is supplied with the ARS.

OBX1000 BEM Cable Clamp The OAsys OBX 1000 BEM Cable Clamp is used to anchor the cable to the rack and route the fibres onto the Modules. The BEM is suitable for cables between 36 and 192 fibres. 20 metres of routing tube is supplied with the BEM.

OBX1000 Double BEM Cable Clamp The OAsys OBX 1000 Double BEM Cable Clamp is used to anchor a cable with a fibre count of 193 to 384 fibres to the rack and route the fibres onto the Modules. 40 metres of routing tube is supplied with the Double BEM.

2U Routing Channel The 2U Routing Channel is used for routing patchcords horizontally within the rack to other ODF equipment. It is used in place of 2 modules.

Splice Protectors Heatshrink Splice Protectors OAsys splice protectors are used to protect the fibre splice. They are 2.2mm in diameter and 45mm in length.

Crimp Splice Protector Kit The OAsys Crimp Splice Protector Kit is used to convert the splice tray in an OAsys In Line Joint to accommodate crimp splice protectors. One kit is required for each splice tray. The kit contains an insert to house the splice protectors and 12 crimp splice protectors.
