           The Payroll Team provides a centralised Payroll service to all Council Services, Inverclyde Leisure and Riverside Inverclyde. Payroll enquiries can be made by calling any member of the Payroll Team or by emailing [email protected] or contact Bobby McEwan on ext. 2785 or email [email protected] The Payroll Team are responsible for the following: • Calculation and payment of all Salaries, Wages, Allowances and Expenses • • • Calculation and payment of Members’ Allowances Collection of PAYE Tax, National Insurance and Pensions Reconciliation and payment of Statutory Deductions to HM Revenue & Customs, Strathclyde Pension Fund and Scottish Public Pensions Agency Deduction of all voluntary deductions from Net Pay Issuing Payslips Issuing P60’s at Tax Year End Issuing P45’s at termination of employment Assessment of benefits and expenses for P11D purposes Administering the Council’s Car Loan Scheme Administering the Council’s Childcare Voucher Scheme Administering the Council’s Cycle to Work Scheme • • • • • • • •   tt HR Operations provides a centralised HR service to all Council Services and under a Service Level Agreement (SLA) to Riverside Inverclyde. This includes HR advice and guidance, Health and Safety advice and guidance, Payroll Services and the Chris21/HR21 project team. Chris21 The Chris21 team is responsible for the development, maintenance and continued support of the HR Payroll system. Chris21 is an integrated human resources and payroll system produced by Frontier Software plc. It provides a one stop integrated approach to human resource management by using new technology. The key benefit of this system is that managers are viewing ‘real-time’ information and have the ability to create statistical data using the report designer facility. The development areas of Chris21 cover the following: • Learning and Development • Recruitment and Selection • Health and Safety • Grievance and Disciplinary issues HR21 Self Service Module for Employees HR21 is the means by which you can view your personal, post details, salary Information and print your payslip as held on the HR Payroll system. You are also able to update certain information including your name, address and emergency contact details. Security and access controls are in place to ensure you see only your own details. For information if staff are ‘locked –out’ of Chris21 or HR21 they should contact the ICT service desk at ext. 2345 where they will be asked a couple of security questions before access is restarted.  t   If a Service requires the support of an HR Advisor they should contact Barbara McQuarrie, HR Manager (ext. 2845) or Laura McIntyre, HR Team Leader (ext. 2753) in the first instance.
