OFF ROAD 3 TRAIL BLAZER 4 REACH THE IMPOSSIBLE At Honda, we don’t believe in limits. And neither do our riders. Which is why we have developed our range of CRF bikes to be able to take on the toughest, most challenging courses in the world. Precision engineered with unrivalled reliability, results in less time in the garage and more time powering through dirt. Each bike is packed full of cutting edge features and proven race winning technology. Combine that with superb agility and light weight, they will keep you one step ahead of the competition whether you’re a seasoned pro or climbing the ladder. It will be the first out of the gate, first into turn 1 and first to punch a blistering lap time. With a new engine packing an 11% increase in peak power, matched to a chassis that can truly make full use of it, the 2017 CRF450R is stronger, sharper and more focused. The new 449cc power unit uses innovative engineering on both intake and exhaust side. On the intake, straight passageways reduce air resistance significantly for improved combustion efficiency. On the exhaust side, the twin pipes divide close to the engine, facilitating the increase in compression ratio from 12.5 to 13.5, a key element in the greater power output.  It also boasts an all-new seventh generation aluminium frame with new chassis geometry, lower centre of gravity and ‘factory’ race kit-specification 49mm Showa steel spring front fork. A titanium fuel tank, smooth, aerodynamically-efficient plastics and electric start complete the all-new package. 49 mm CRF450R SPECIAL EDITION KEY FEATURES Showa USD Fork 6.3 Litres PGM FI SHOWA USD FORK ALUMINIUM FRAME EMSB ELECTRIC START HONDA’S PRO-LINK REAR SUSPENSION Fuel Tank 110.6 kg Kerb Weight WAVY DISCS The new 2017 CRF450R features: Standard features: + H RC-inspired new engine gives 11% boost in top end power and stronger torque across the rev range + Buildbase Honda team graphics + Pirelli tyres + A krapoviç header & tail pipes + Talon wheels (black rims / silver hubs) + Blackbird Racing seat cover (red / white) + Red fender vented + Red number board + N ew frame with lower centre of gravity and revised geometry provides outstanding rear wheel traction and even more agile handling + Electric start as standard Discover more at honda.co.uk Special Edition comes with the Original Equipment Manufacturer parts as spares. Our CRF250R’s 249cc four-valve Unicam® engine is loaded with an HRC developed cylinder head, piston and con-rod. A fresh cam profile operates titanium inlet valves and new titanium exhaust valves. A revised airbox draws harder, while optimised PGM-FI Dual Fuel injection, redesigned exhaust and big-bore mufflers do the rest. It’s a winning move. Boosted bottom end torque drives even harder, with zero loss of mid-range, while a blistering top-end delivers more outright horsepower plus extended over-rev to minimise gear changes. And don’t worry, the CRF250R’s trademark-beautifully fluid, throttle feel remains. Just like its big brother, the CRF250R puts the rider in charge with the same 3-way Engine Mode Select Button (EMSB), providing perfect power for track conditions: Mode 1 balances fueling and ignition maps for all-round usability. Mode 2 delivers smooth torque for when it’s slippery while Mode 3 drives hard with full power to punch through sand. 39.4 bhp @ 11,500 rpm KEY FEATURES Max Power Output 27.1 Nm @ 9,000 rpm PGM FI SHOWA’S SFFTAC-AIR FORKS EMSB WAVY DISCS Max Torque 105.6 kg Kerb Weight HONDA’S PRO-LINK REAR SUSPENSION UPGRADE PARTS CRF250R SPECIAL EDITION Add these high performance parts to any CRF250R model: Standard features: + X TRIG ROCS triple clamps and adjustable bar mounts (red or black) + AXP rad brace, Hurly rad cover & UFO hand guards + Race FX ‘Honda Racing’ clutch cover & Pro Series clutch assembly (red) + Race FX front & PHM rear hole shot devices + GMX alloy tank with factory filler Discover more at honda.co.uk + Buildbase Honda team graphics + Pirelli tyres + A krapoviç header & tail pipes + Talon wheels (black rims /red hubs) + Blackbird Racing seat cover (red/white/black) + Red fender vented + Red number board Special Edition comes with the Original Equipment Manufacturer parts as spares. CRF150RB 09 07 08 10 POCKET ROCKET Packed full of high performance technology, the CRF150RB is the best place for future champions to hone their skills. Armed with a powerful 4-stroke Unicam® engine that’s smooth and easy to control, a light twist-grip action gives accurate throttle response while its wide rev-range leaves other riders trailing in the roost. And this bike handles; the strong, slim and lightweight steel tube frame mounts a low-friction, long-travel, fully adjustable inverted front fork – just like its big brothers. With performance DNA this strong, you’ll be winning races in no time. 23.5 bhp @ 12,500 rpm CRF150RB SPECIAL EDITION KEY FEATURES Standard features Max Power Output 14.1 Nm @ 11,000 rpm HONDA’S PRO-LINK REAR SUSPENSION INVERTED SHOWA FORK Max Torque 84.4 Upgrade parts The following parts are available as extras: kg Kerb Weight + Buildbase Honda team graphics + Blackbird Racing seat cover (red/white/black) + Race FX front hole shot device Discover more at honda.co.uk + Yoshimura exhaust system + Talon Evo wheels with Pirelli tyres (black rims / red hubs) CRF450RX 11 12 ULTIMATE OFF ROAD WEAPON The CRF450RX is based on the all-new CRF450R but has some crucial differences to create an uncompromising enduro focus. This gives the CRF450RX pure moto-cross DNA to deal with any special enduro stage as well as the confidence-inspiring competence to handle flat-out trails, challenging climbs and tight, tricky sections with ease. The new 449cc engine packs an 11% increase in peak power which has been matched to a chassis that can truly make use of it. Both front and rear suspension are less firm, with lighter compression damping and a lower spring rate for the shock. The CRF450RX’s PGM-FI ignition timing map produces softer power and torque delivery than the CRF450R to aid traction. The EMSB (Engine Mode Select Button) provides the rider with 3 distinct choices: Mode 1 equals all-round smooth performance, Mode 2 gives the most easy-to-manage throttle feel, and Mode 3 delivers the power in the most aggressive, responsive way. Electric start is also fitted as standard. The CRF450RX is something truly special for the enduro world to ride and race. And, just like the new CRF450R, it is compellingly fast. 49 mm KEY FEATURES Showa USD Fork 8.5 Litres PGM FI SHOWA USD FORK ALUMINIUM FRAME WAVY DISCS HONDA’S PRO-LINK REAR SUSPENSION ELECTRIC START Fuel Tank 118 kg Kerb Weight Discover more at honda.co.uk EMSB CRF250RE 13 12 14 COMPETITIVE ENDURO RACER Made by Honda UK specifically for riders who want to ride off road to the maximum, the CRF250RE is the ultimate enduro machine. Based on the CRF250R, it’s styled with Honda UK Enduro graphics and bristling with features for limited road use and extended riding time, without losing any of the punchy power characteristics or incredible control of its motocross cousin. With the very latest motocross pedigree chassis and fully adjustable suspension set-up this bike knows the quickest way around any sort of terrain. From tight twisty special stages where the UFO hand guards provide extra protection, to flat out forest fire roads, the pinpoint control and superb traction make for a highly competitive ride. The HRC Team developed 4-stroke Unicam® engine provides plenty of torque right through the rev range, especially useful when navigating longer trails. Whether conditions are slick and wet or dry and grippy, power delivery from the fuel injected motor can be tuned via the 3-mode handlebar-mounted Engine Mode Select Button to suit the rider’s preference. Though designed primarily for off road use, the CRF250RE is equipped to be road legal* with an ignition key & digital speedo, Pro-Racing lighting kit, road legal Michelin tyres and a DEP road legal full exhaust system. ELECTRIC START Instead of kickstarting the bike electric start offers a simple more convenient way to start the engine. 28 29 EXPERIENCE MORE THE POWER OF DREAMS Leave behind the daily grind. Take adrenaline for a test ride. The first product to bear the Honda name was an auxiliary engine for bicycles. Adding power to the bicycle made life a bit easier for people and made getting around more fun. Right from the beginning, Honda was about creating things that people truly need – things that had never before existed. It takes independent thinking, audacity and imagination to follow ideas wherever they lead. It also takes determination; the passion, tenacity and innovation to never allow the dream to die and to shape dreams into products for the world. To realise this dream as the world prepares for a lowcarbon future, Honda is leading the way in addressing the needs of people all over the globe with advanced fuel infrastructure. From bikes to cars, boats to planes and even to the way we fuel our homes and workplaces, our passion for innovation and our desire to make life better for all just goes from strength to strength. Our range of Riding Centres offer expert tuition from experienced Honda instructors on Adventure, Off Road and Super Sport bikes as well as the chance to test ride bikes from across the Honda range.
