So what is B.Y.O.D.? Schools across New Zealand are currently undergoing a transformation towards more innovative learning environments. Part of this journey is the roll-out of Bring Your Own Devices (B.Y.O.D.). Students are now encouraged to bring their own laptops or tablets for use at school to support improved learning outcomes.
Which B.Y.O.D. device is right for me? Devices with Microsoft Windows (pages 3 & 4) offer flexibility while Chromebooks (page 2) are a cheaper option and if you’re an ‘Apple household’ you may prefer to stick within that environment (page 5).
