No need to outgrow your OKIFAX 5650, because you can upgrade it to match your growing business. A G4 (ISDN) option lets you take advantage of high-speed communication – transmitting a page in 200 x 200 dpi in 3 seconds or 200 x 100 dpi in 1.5 seconds. You can also benefit from communicating via the Internet by registering the Fax2Net option that lets you fax to email, have your ‘virtual email’ printed out, and retrieve a selection of web pages. With a multi-interface kit your OKIFAX 5650 can become your printer delivering near-600 dpi quality. It can also become a PCfax, scanner and convenience copier. And you can upgrade it to handle a heavy workload with additional memory and a second paper tray.

Flexibility for changing needs
A new, larger operator panel makes it even easier to use the high-performance, advanced dialling functions that help save time on every job and reduce the chance of misdialling. There are 40 dedicated buttons for one-touch dialling of frequently used numbers, and you can allocate up to
150 numbers for speed dialling. Another high-performance feature is the ability to create up to 20 groups from these 190 numbers for distributing communications to groups such as suppliers and customers.
Even larger memory The large (2.5Mb) memory offers flexible ways to work and helps safeguard incoming and outgoing documents. It holds around 200 A4 pages – so users can scan and store outgoing faxes to send at off-peak times, to broadcast, or to save time while receiving an incoming fax. Also, large incoming documents can be held in memory if paper or consumables run out, and there is a 20-hour memory back-up that holds documents securely in memory if the power fails. For heavier duty operation, a memory option lets you upgrade with a further 2Mb or 4Mb of memory to store a total of around 520 A4 pages.
Environmentally friendly Environmental factors are a high priority for Oki's designers, so the OKIFAX 5650 draws a tiny 0.5W in power save mode, and uses separate consumables to help prevent waste. And like all Oki products, its operation is virtually ozone-free.
