These new models offer unparalleled output for their size, along with rugged durability suitable for any small to mid-sized live sound venues. The complete On Point Audio range will be exhibited at NAMM booth # 1664 in Anaheim, CA January 13th through 16th, 2011. The new systems combine perfectly matched class-D amplification, sophisticated digital signal processing, best-in-class transducers and robust enclosures to create easy-to-use, self-contained systems. Each of these models are equipped with 2,000 watts of power controlled by European-designed digital processing that delivers pristine response, unconstrained dynamics and full system protection. OPA-15 Active On Point Audio understands the challenges of touring in different venues, and has added features to answer these requirements. Features of the OPA-10 Active include comfort-lift handles, a metal pole mount, plus 10 x M10 fly points. The OPA-15 Active has a built-in stand mount adaptor and 7 x M10 fly points, plus its specially-shaped enclosure allows it to be used as a floor monitor too. The lightweight (88 lb / 40 kg) OPA-Sub Active features heavy-duty casters for easy moving and comes with a height-adjustable mounting pole for suspension of full-range systems. A number of optional accessories are available, including eyebolt kits and U-Brackets to make it easy and cost-effective to suspend systems. One of the most unique technical features of this line is the Narrow-Profile NP15N 15-inch woofer that is only 14-inches wide (355 mm). On Point Audio’s engineering was able to ‘shrink’ the woofer’s size by making its frame rectangular instead of circular and by utilizing a new type of surround. The 3,200-watt Narrow-Profile woofer features a large 4-inch (101.6 mm) voice coil that compliments its unique narrow-profile design. The NP15N woofer is used in the OPA-15 Active, as well as other 15-inch models in the line. “We designed the OPA Active series from the ground up to perform in real world, live sound environments where high output and pristine sound are required,” says On Point President, Doug MacCallum. “With their high-performance drivers, built-in class-D amplification and digital signal processing, we feel that musicians, club sound engineers and DJ’s will appreciate the high quality, cost-effective speakers that On Point Audio offers.” ### About On Point Audio: Founded by experienced audio industry professionals, On Point Audio is a new company that was created to develop and manufacture premium-quality, leading-edge loudspeaker systems for live performance and high-quality music playback systems.
