OP-200 Lenel-supported Fingerprint reader for Fast and Simple Biometric Security Upgrades OP200 unique hardware integration with OnGuard completely eliminates the need for middleware. Numerous benefits derived from eliminating middleware include: • Saves money. No licenses to purchase. • Saves time. No software to install. • Fast. Direct communication with OnGuard. • Optimal uptime. Not dependent upon computer. • Never the need for software upgrades. • Never the need for software maintenance. OP-200 features OnGuard Integration: OP200 firmware communicates directly with OnGuard and automatically synchronizes needed customer user data. Eliminates need for middleware. Eliminates need to manually create users in the biometric readers. Biometric Performance: Advanced SilkID fingerprint technology delivers optimal accuracy, matching speed and powerful fake finger detection. Auto Data Synchronization Multiple OP200s automatically synchronize fingerprint templates. Eliminates need for middleware. Eliminates need to separately manage templates. Authentication Options (single or multi-factor) Fingerprint RFID (HID, Mifare, Desfire) PIN codes Capacity Communication: Wiegand-Out to access control panel Wiegand-In for 3rd party peripherals TCP/IP and RS232/485 data communication USB for offline data management 3,000 Fingerprints 30,000 cards 100,000 transactions Installation and Operation steps Installation Steps Operation • Provide 12V power and network cable near OP200 wall mount. • Connect power and network cable to OP-200 • Once OnGuard user data is downloaded and fingerprints are enrolled, OP-200 is now ready for operation. • When users authenticate to the OP-200 (i.e. finger print, card, PIN code) the OP-200 will query its embedded database for a match. Upon positive match the OP-200 will transmit the user ID to the Lenel panel via Wiegand. If the panel determine that the user has appropriate rights, the panel will unlock the door. • Configure OP200 with IP address of computer running OnGuard software. • Once OnGuard user data is downloaded to OP- 200 Master reader, begin enrolling fingerprints. • OP-200 is now ready to use on the OP-200 Master reader. Hardware Diagram Note any subsequent addition of users (from OnGuard) or fingerprint templates (on OP- 200 Master) are automatically synchronized with OP- 200 slave-readers on the network.
