OPCOM200-FE/GE Media Converter OPCOM200-FE/GE is modular Ethernet to CWDM wavelength converter of Raisecom's CWDM product line to realize the Ethernetsignal-to-CWDM-signal conversion. Industryleading functionalities such as bandwidth control (OPCOM200-FEU only), MDI/MDIX auto sensing, fault pass through and remote management are implemented on OPCOM200-FE/GEU1 converters, enabling a cost-effective and flexible Ethernet transmission over CWDM platform. OPCOM series CWDM products are capable of transporting multiple independent services from 2, 4, to 8 in one single pair of fiberI without interference to each
other. This series products are developed and designed for fully utilizing the existing fiber resources in metropolitan area and carrier's access networks with multiple capabilities of remote management, bandwidth control and auto negotiation. which can be widely used in various networks such as point-to-point, pointto-multi point, chain and ring networks.

Installed in 3U16 chassis together with RC series media converters, or in single slot chassis. Must work in pairs. SFP optical module is available. Bandwidth Control Bandwidth Control Function is supported at electrical interface, N*32k (OPCOM200-FEU1) Link faulty detection Support link trouble shooting in electrical link and optical link Auto Negotiation The auto negotiation of electrical port allows OPCOM200-FEU1 to perform automatic configuration to achieve the best possible mode of operation over a link. You also can disable this feature to avoid the mode of operation dropping to the least common denominator when connecting with a nonnegotiating device (i.e. 100Mbps, half-duplex). MDI/MDIX auto Automatically detects and configures the copper port on the converter to sensing the correct MDI or MDIX configuration. This feature eliminates an entire category of troubleshooting Fault-PassSupport Fault-Pass-Through function from electrical port to optical port and Through from optical port to electrical port Loopback Loopback function enables network diagnostics from local or remote site, this provides a flexible method for troubleshooting and is prohibitive to increase truck roll and other maintenance costs. Hot swapped Modular units can be hot swapped in RC002 chassis with high reliability Max Frame size Remote management
