PRESET +/Sets the radio frequency channel. @@ST/MN Selects STEREO and MONO. @@@@Display window Shows the current status of the player. VOLUME + Adjusts volume of speakers. - TUNING + Selects the radio frequency. MEMORY Selects and memorizes FM stations. INPUT Selects the DVD/ AUX/ TUNER mode. STANDBY/ON Switches the subwoofer ON and OFF. @@VOLTAGE SELECT SWITCH : OPTIONAL Main POWER switch Switches the main power of subwoofer ON and OFF. AC Power Cord Plug into the power source. SPEAKER Connectors Connect the left and right speakers to these terminals. RESET This button is used to solve the problem as following symptom; · When the power can not on, even if power cord is connected to the outlet. · When the window display does not display. · When the subwoofer does not operate normally. DVD and AUX IN (L/R) jacks Connect the audio output cable from the DVD player and an external unit (Audio system, TV/Monitor, VCR etc. ) to these terminals. 15 11 12 14 10 13 11 13 14 12 * 10 Setting the voltage (OPTIONAL) 15 If your set is equipped with a voltage selector at the back side, be sure to set it to your local power supplied before connecting the AC power cord. 4 Antenna (Aerial) Connections Connect the supplied FM antenna for listening to the radio. FM external antenna (aerial) (not supplied) FM 75 FM wire antenna (supplied) Note: · Be sure to fully extend the FM wire antenna. · After connecting the FM wire antenna, keep it as horizontal as possible. 2.1 Channel Speakers Connections Connecting to DVD player 1. @@2. @@(L, R). 3. @@@@@@@@ Do not disassemble the front cover of supplied speaker. @@@@2. @@@@1. Press INPUT repeatedly to select FM tuner mode. 2. @@@@Scanning stops when the unit tunes in a station. Tuning in manually - Press TUNING (-)/(+) briefly and repeatedly. 3. Press MEMORY button on the sub woofer. A preset number will flash in the display window. 4. Press PRESET (-)/(+) to select the preset number you want. 5. Press MEMORY button again. The station will be stored. 6. Repeat steps 1 (or 2) to 5 to store other stations. @@@@To change the preset number, follow the steps 4-5. To recall presets Press and hold PRESET (-)/(+) until the desired preset number appears or press it repeatedly. Listening to the Radio 1. Press INPUT repeatedly to select FM tuner mode. 2. Press PRESET (-)/(+) repeatedly to select the preset station you want. - Each time you press the button, the unit tunes in one preset station at a time. 3. @@@@@@@@@@There will be no stereo effect, but the reception will improve. Press ST/MN again to restore the stereo effect. · To improve reception, reposition the supplied antenna. Note: · Use ST/MN function to switch to mono reception if stereo reception is distorted by noise. Sound Quality Adjustment · You can choose between 4 fixed sound impressions using the EQ button on the remote control. FLAT ROCK POP CLASSIC linear frequency response more bass, more treble less bass, less treble for orchestral music MUTE Press MUTE to temporarily stop the sound. The MUTE indicator flashes in the display window. 6 Troubleshooting Check the following guide for the possible cause of a problem before contacting service. Symptom No sound. Cause The audio cables are not connected securely. @@Speaker cords are not connected securely. Sound level is too low. The volume control is set to MIN. Speaker wires are not connected correctly. The remote control does not work properly. @@The remote control is too far from the DVD player. @@The batteries in the remote control are exhausted. No Power Power switch in the rear panel is turned off. Correction Connect the audio cable securely. Turn on the equipment connected with the audio cable. Connect them securely. Adjuts the VOLUME to higher than MIN. Connect them correctly, that is L (left) to L, R (right) to R. Point the remote control at the remote sensor of the DVD player. Operate the remote control within 23 ft (7 m). Remove the obstacle. Replace the batteries with new ones. @@@@. . Audio cable . . . Speaker wires . FM Antenna . . .
