Safety instructions
1.1 Fundamentals
of the user or of third parties, or cause damage to the machine and to other property.
Qualification of operating personnel
Pay attention to the special working conditions on the building site. Protect yourself and others within your responsibility against the many hazards!
Machining concrete is neither simple nor without risk. Material assets on the site, the machine itself and the safety of people are at stake. The operating personnel must therefore be trained by experienced specialists. HYDROSTRESS can support you in your training. Only specially trained and qualified personnel may carry out maintenance and repair work and any other work on the following components: Electric equipment Hydraulic equipment Read the manual and inform your staff! This manual contains important information on how to operate the machine safely and efficiently. The owner of the machine must make sure that the instructions in this manual are followed by every person having anything to do with the machine, the auxiliary and operation equipment.
Noise level Depending on the working environment, the machine can cause excessive noise during operation. The noise can permanently damage the hearing of operating personnel and of other people nearby within a very short time. Ear protectors must therefore always be worn during machining. Recognize warnings! Pay attention to the following words, their symbols and their meaning: Danger: Orders or prohibitions designed to prevent personal injury
The manual must be accessible on the site at all times. Hazards on the building site The machine has been built in accordance with state-of-the-art standards and the recognized safety regulations. Nevertheless, its use may constitute a risk to the life and limb

Regulations for preventing accidents in your country

1.2 Inherent dangers of chain saws Dangers caused by electrical power units and rotating pulleys are adequately described in the respective chain sawing equipment operating manuals. Other dangers must be strictly avoided by protecting the operating personnel and other persons not involved in sawing work. Precautions

1.3 Use in accordance with the intended purpose

1.4 Before starting work Emergency stop
Possible work: - Cutting of uncut corner radii after sawing with saw blade Cutting positions: - Normal position, inclined position and flush Materials that can be processed: - Reinforced concrete - Natural stone
Ensure that the machine can be stopped quickly in the event of an emergency (refer to "Emergency stop" in the operating instructions for the power unit employed)! First aid in case of accidents Make sure you know how to alert first aid rapidly in case of an accident! Water, gas and electric lines
- Masonry This machine is not designed for other applications and could be extremely dangerous under certain circumstances. If used for other work all guarantees of HYDROSTRESS would be excluded. Cut-out sections These sections can be very heavy: Example A cube with an edge length of one metre weighs approximately 2.5 tonnes. Ensure that these sections do not fall outside the cordoned area. Power units and accessories Only use the machine with the recommended power units and accessories (also refer to "Connectable equipment" and "Accessories" in these operating instructions).
Make sure that all supply lines are turned off in the area of your cut. Find out whether it is permissible for such lines to be cut through. Reinforcement Find out whether the reinforcement in your machining area may be cut. If necessary, the cut location must be shifted after consulting the customer. Organizing your work place Organize your work place well! You will reduce the risk of accidents substantially! Lighting of your workplace Make sure you have sufficient lighting at your work place. Safe areas for operating personnel and other people This machine is designed to be operated by a single person. During machining, other people must keep a safe distance from the machine. The power unit must be positioned so that all controls can be easily reached by the operator.

It must in particular be possible to stop the machine quickly and reliably (also refer to the section "Emergency stop" in the operating manual for the power unit employed). Motor feed Machines with motor feed are not automatic machines. They must never be left unattended during operation. An emergency stop must be possible at all times. Rotating and moving parts To prevent being caught by rotating or moving parts, wear close-fitting clothes and a hair-net if you have long hair!
1.5 After work Unplug mains Unplug the mains connector of the power unit employed after completing work in order to prevent accidental activation! Removing cutouts and drilling cores Use appropriate lifting gear to remove these pieces, in order to prevent injuries.

Corner saw checklist
2.1 What is corner sawing? Recutting of corner radii after sawing with a saw blade when sharp-edged openings are required.
2.2 Errors during corner sawing Cut not completed The corner saw cannot provide a complete cut. Saw out as far as possible using a wall saw (e.g. FZ-2S).
Corner sawing using the same track setting After pre-sawing with the saw head has been completed, set up the corner saw on the same track. (Do not shift the track.)

Correct chain running direction When installing the chain, observe the chain running direction. The correct chain running direction is engraved on the drive wheel housing.

Checking chain tension The correct chain tension is set when the chain can be moved a max. 6 mm away from the bar with a moderate pull.

Always store the chain and bar after spraying them with chain spray and ensuring that they are free of water
The chain must be able to be manually rotated easily for a full turn. Lubricating the chain Lubricating the chain provides you with the longest possible service life of chain and bar. Proceed as follows: After the last use, wash chain and bar with water, let chain run for 5 seconds without water. …and spray the running chain using chain spray. Or even better: Remove the chain from the bar and spray it with chain spray

10.4 Servicing the bar/deflection pulley
The chain runs on the bar. The bar provides side guidance for the chain and generates the cutting pressure. Only water is used for lubrication during the sawing operation.

Make sure the chain riveter is safely mounted on an even and clean surface, and regularly check the mounting.

Removing deflection pulley rivets:
Preparation for installation of new deflection pulley:
Remove the front bar rivets Use the riveter for this purpose Place the bar rivets centrally over the 1/4“ hole of the anvil and press out the rivets
Open the deflection pulley packing, fold back carefully the top insertion card in order not to lost any components, or not to mix them up Installing new deflection pulley:

Using a screw driver, push the bar apart a little Push the deflection pulley together with the insertion card into position, while aligning the six rivet openings on the deflection pulley with the six rivet openings on the bar Insert six rivets into the openings and hold them from below with thumb
Removing old deflection pulley: Using a screwdriver, push the bar apart so that it is sufficient to remove the old deflection pulley Use paper towel to clean the area where the deflection pulley was located

During riveting be careful not to hit the rivet heads, and not the bar otherwise the deflection pulley will be clamped
The rivet heads must fully fill the counterbores of the bar and be flush, but the deflection pulley must still run freely Remove the screwdriver and pull out the insertion card. New deflection pulleys can widen out used bars. In this case, use a small clamp during riveting to hold the bar together.

Filing down the rivet heads: Use a flat file to file all the rivet heads to the same height. All the rivets should be flush with the bar surface.
Riveting: Place the bar with the rivets inserted onto a clean and even steel surface and knock the rivets into the rivet counterbores with flat part of the hammer

Troubleshooting
Proceed systematically when looking for the cause of defects. Also refer to the operating manual of the employed power unit. If you cannot find the defect or eliminate the fault, please contact our after-sales service.
Disconnect the power unit from the mains prior to rectifying the fault!
Before calling us, please observe the following: - The better you describe the defect, the better we can help you - Have the operating instructions (manual) at hand - Note the type and the index number of your equipment

12.1 Transport The CSF41 corner saw is a high-tech instrument. Protect it against transport damage: Don't cover the CSF41 corner saw with pieces of equipment Secure the corner saw to prevent it from falling down Always transport it in the original wooden box
Storing bar and chain After last use, wash chain and bar with water, let chain run for 5 seconds without water. …and spray running chain using chain spray. Or even better: Remove the chain from the bar and spray it with chain spray Always store the chain and bar after spraying them and ensure that they are stored in a dry place
12.2 Taking out of service, storage If you don't use the CSF41 corner saw for a lengthy period of time, proceed as follows: Blow out water Store the machine in a dry place Lightly oil bright parts
12.3 Disposal The CSF41 corner saw consists of the following materials: - Aluminium casting - Rolled aluminium products - Steel - Rubber - Plastic Make sure you know about the local regulations for disposal in your country!

EQUIPMENT AND PARTS WARRANTY Diamond Products warrants all equipment manufactured by it against defects in workmanship or materials for a period of one (1) year from the date of shipment to Customer. The responsibility of Diamond Products under this Warranty is limited to replacement or repair of defective parts at Diamond Products’ Elyria, Ohio factory, or at a point designated by it, of such parts as shall appear to us upon inspection at such parts, to have been defective in material or workmanship, with expense for transportation and labor borne by Customer. In no event shall Diamond Products be liable for consequential or incidental damages arising out of the failure of any Product to operate properly. Integral units such as engines, electric motors, batteries, transmissions, etc., are excluded from this Warranty and are subject to the prime manufacturer’s warranty. THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, AND ALL SUCH OTHER WARRANTIES ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED.
