Turn off the Power Chair or Mobility Scooter. Ensure the output voltage of the charger is compatible to the voltage of the batteries. Connect the battery charger cannon plug to the charge port of the Mobility Scooter or Power Chair. Ensure that the connector fits firmly into the socket and locks into place. Connect the AC power cord on the charger. Once the charger has power to it, the red LED indicator light will turn on. When the charging starts, the orange LED indicator light will turn on. Do not leave the scooter until the charging light turns on. The fan may not turn on immediately, this does not mean the charger isn’t working. Once the charger light goes green, this does not mean that the battery is fully charged. Please leave the charger connected when the scooter isn’t in use. It’s not recommended to use the scooter unless the charger light has gone green and been green for at least 2-3 hours. The charger is a smart charger, it will not over charge your batteries. For ultimate battery life, its suggested that you leave the charger connected at all times when the scooter is not in use. The battery charger will maintain the battery at 100% state of charge.
