For example several new Kenwood products: very special indeed! These newcomers are the central theme of this Kenwood News. Listen to the future Kenwood is dedicated to the development of high quality products with superb design. The new line of the products from the K-Series can be a good example of this approach. We believe that the packing of such products should instantly catch the attention of the potential buyer. That is why we have designed the new packing cases for the K-711 system. We were very pleased to receive a lot of positive feedback from our customers and distributors. This special package proved to be not only appealing but also very practical and helps to increase the turnover. The packing case is supplied with K-711 (the main unit and the loudspeakers). In case you would like to use this packing box (without the contents) for display and demonstration, please get in contact with your Kenwood Salesmanager. Another special packing case was developed for KTB-5350 system. This new 43-cm components system consists of the KRF-V5300D/-S and DVF-3500B/–S and is available in two colors: black and silver. The system catches the imagination both with its excellent technical specifications and the attractive price. The system is available soon.

Product highlights In each addition of Kenwood news we announce several products. This time we are proud to present the following:
Home Electronics:
AX-8 AX-8 is a unique 2.0 system with real surround sound reproduction from 2 loudspeakers! As any other Kenwood product this system guarantees excellent quality of sound. The 4- channel amplifier can be switched to 2 channels for music reproduction. The system is equipped with a D-audio input. It enables the user to plug the PAD-iP7 into the main unit. The PAD-iP7 is an iPod Docking station. It means you can control the iPod with the remote control of AX-8. Both AX-8 -and PAD-iP7 are available soon.
KS-1300HT/B KS-1300HT/B is a new product in the Home Entertainment line-up. It is a compact 5-channel Home Cinema Surround loudspeaker set. This item is available in 2 colors: silver and high-glance black (Piano Black)
PNC-iP120 Available now! PNC-iP120 is an iPod connection cable. With this high-quality cable you can easily connect your iPod to our design system, the C-707i, and enjoy the access to the main functions of the iPod with the remote control of C-707i.
Car Electronics: KDC-BT8041U KDC-BT8041U is available now. Completely new design, outstanding performance and impressive array of options: build-in Bluetooth module for problem-free hands-free telephone calls with Parrot technology including Bluetooth Audio Streaming. For your iPod this device is equipped with 1-cable iPod USB direct control. Due to “Multi Knob” control this unit is very user-friendly. Moreover, it features a clearly arranged display.

Future releases Home Electronics: PAD-iP7
Kenwood’s Funny Car The first Kenwood “demo car” with joyful interior in Norway. Elisabeth, the owner of this Bora, is one of our most enthusiast customers: she has been a real Kenwood-fan for years now. The interior of the car is created by Elisabeth’s partner. This VW Bora is equipped with the complete Kenwood multimedia system: the DDX-8022BT Double-din unit, the KNA-G520 navigation computer, the KCA-iP300V iPod cable en the KFC-PS18P High-end Component loudspeaker system. There are also two LZ-702IR monitors in the head restraints. The trunk is home to DIDDLINA, a fluffy toy with 2 build-in KFC-WPS1000F Shallow woofers, driven by 2 amplifiers: KAC-9104D and KAC8404.
The big advantage of this iPod Docking station is that, once connected to a Kenwood system with a D-Audio input (mini-jack), it can provide access to the main functions of the iPod with the remote control of Kenwood’s audio system. Our Docking station is the only product on the market equipped with a component output to transmit high resolution video image. This dock can be used not only in combination with Kenwood systems with a D-Audio input; it is also connectable with any other system with a line input. Although, in this case it will be not possible to manipulate the iPod with the remote control of this particular system.
CC-MGR-A7 CC-MGR-A7is a protection case for the MGR-A7 with an inside screw to connect the MGR-A7 to a camera support stand (a so-called Tripod).
WS-MGR-A7 Wind Screen for MGR-A7 is designed to reduce the noise of the wind during the outdoors record sessions.
Car Electronics: DPX-503U en DPX-303 These 2 new double din receivers will be available from mid August. These units offer a wide range of connectivity options and attract the attention with their innovative design. The going price for the DPX-503U is € 309; and € 249 for the DPX-303

Hint For the detailed demonstration of our new amazing product MGR-A7 you can check the following URL: www.kenwood.nl/ technologie/mgra7. Among other things you will find here a usage guide and several sound-clips recorded with this device.
Tip We regularly receive questions about the update of the software for our multimedia systems. The latest updates are always published via Kenwood website. You can check them at www.kenwood.nl/support/ download/software. Here you can find everything you need to provide the client with the optimal service. Our support site can also help you to chose the right steering wheel interface and give you the information about the DDX build-in frames. To avoid any possible misunderstanding: if your car/type is not included in the list, it means that it is not possible to connect the steering wheel interface to this model. Please note: starting from 1 July 2008 the wrongly ordered steering wheel interfaces will not be refunded. The list is regulary updated by Kenwood.

OOR test MGR-A7 The latest edition of the music magazine OOR features the article where MGR-7 is compared with the similiar products of different brands. The result of the test: "MGR-A7 is by far the best MP-player with recording option you can get at the moment”. When such opinion is expressed by the most critical music magazine in the Netherlands, we believe we can be really proud of our product!
To attract the attention of the client in the store many of our systems are equipped with the remarkable display and keyboard backlighting. To mention just a few: K-711, K1000, but also K’Esule. When needed, it is possible to dim the display and to fade out (partly or completely) the keys. You can do this pressing the dim-key on the remote control once or repeatedly until you reach the required mode.
