Original HP ink cartridges proven to outperform Buyers Lab study on Original HP inkjet cartridges
*Buyers Laboratory LLC, a leading independent authority on office equipment and provider of competitive intelligence, conducted a comparative study between Original HP ink cartridges and EMEA third-party refilled and remanufactured aftermarket cartridges to test their reliability and page yield. The results reveal that Original HP ink cartridges surpass rival products in both categories.

Manufacturers of non-HP cartridges may claim that their products are just as reliable as Original HP ink cartridges, but tests tell a different story.
An ink cartridge should both run perfectly with every print and consistently deliver on page yield.
More than 40 percent of the third-party ink cartridges failed, according to the BLI study, with 14 percent being dead on arrival and 27 percent expiring prematurely (Fig. 1).1 In stark contrast, Original HP ink cartridges worked every time. Fading, leakage, incorrect colour mixing and electrical connection faults all contributed to the failure of non-HP ink cartridges (Fig. 4). Yet, not a single Original HP ink cartridge failed in the BLI tests, rendering reprints and premature replacements redundant.
