Out of Warranty Repair Procedures Thank you for your interest in obtaining an out of warranty repair with Overland Storage. Overland has recently instituted a flat fee repair structure for most of our products that makes it simple to get your Overland equipment back in operating condition. If your product is eligible for an extended maintenance agreement you may be eligible for a discount on your repair if you purchase extended maintenance at the same time. To begin the process, please email our customer support team at: North America: [email protected] or call (858) 495-4158 EMEA Region: [email protected] Or call (+)44 1189898000 - select option 4 Tell us the type of service you require and the serial number of the product. If you have spoken with an Overland technician, include the call ticket number. We will add the appropriate part number to your on line shopping cart and notify you that the service is ready to purchase. You can then go on line and complete the transaction using your credit card and our secure PayPal gateway. It takes two business days for your order to clear our systems. Once the purchase has been processed you will be contacted according to the type of repair you have purchased. If you have purchased an Advance Replacement repair you will receive an email requesting that you approve our advance replacement terms. This is done over our web portal. Once you have completed this step your replacement product will be on its way to you within two business days. If you purchased a Depot repair our RMA Administration team will email you with the RMA number for you return. You will use this RMA for tracking the repair process. All Products MUST be returned to the nearest Overland repair facility Freight Pre-Paid and be adequately packaged. If you do not have packaging materials advise your customer service representative and they can add them to your shopping cart. The RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the package being returned. Any package received without a RMA number will be refused and returned to sender. If you purchased a Field Service repair the service provider in your area will be dispatched and they will contact you to schedule an appointment. On site repairs are usually scheduled within two to three business days as the service providers schedule allows. The list below shows all of our currently available flat rate repairs. To arrange for On-site support in other areas please contact us to obtain the name of your local Overland Authorized Service Provider. All repairs made to Overland manufactured devices are covered by a 90-day warranty. This warranty covers only repairs made for the original failure. Overland reserves the right to charge Time and Material charges in lieu of Fixed-Fee pricing for any physically damaged product. Customer will be advised prior to repairs performed. Should the repairs be declined an inspection fee of $300 will be assessed. Certain End-of-Life product may be referred for support to an authorized third party. The third party provider has been fully qualified by Overland to provide these services. Repairs and/or spare parts will be available from these third party service providers up to the End-of-Support date and may be available thereafter at their discretion.
