WELCOME TO OUTBACK COTTAGE INTRODUCTION Our self catering cottage is a two storey cottage in the centre of the village .We have tried to provide you with as much information as possible to make your stay enjoyable and hope to have you return! PRE – ARRIVAL Details of the property can be found on www.whitbyholidaycottages.net There are photographs of the rooms together with mapping facilities for the property location. Enquiries and Bookings can be made via Whitby Holiday Cottages by telephone e-mail or in writing . The Access Statement is available on the website and in the Welcome File in the cottage. ARRIVAL AND CAR PARKING Keys for the cottage can be collected from the Glaisdale Village Shop . before 5.30.Please make sure you get there before the shop closes. This is an approximate 3 minute walk from the cottage. There is no designated car parking but street parking is available a few yards from the cottage. SAFETY INFORMATION Please take a few minutes to familiarise yourself with the layout of the cottage and front and back doors with keys. Please leave keys in door locks for ease of access in case of emergency. PLEASE DO NOT USE ANY CANDLES AT ANY POINT IN THE PROPERTY. TORCHES ARE NEXT TO FIRE EXTINGUISHERS FOR USE. PLEASE KEEP HALLWAY DOOR CLOSED WHEN RETIRING FOR THE NIGHT. THIS IS A FIRE PRECAUTION AS REQUIRED BY FIRE RISK ASSESSMENT GROUND FLOOR Front door; glass ; width 75 cm with Mortice Lock 100cm from floor. There is a single step 8 cm from the pavement into the ground floor hallway. Threshold of 6cm onto the carpet. Single flight of stairs leading from the hallway fully carpeted ,12 stairs each being 20cm high x 24cm deep x 90cm wide, handrail on the left ascending. Two way light switch for the landing / hallway/entry 114 cm from floor . FIRST FLOOR Small carpeted landing . Two way light switch 130 cm from floor. Fire Extinguisher attached to wall outside door. BATHROOM Door width 72cm. Separate shower cubicle with carpeted step up 12cm. Separate bath ; height 57cm Toilet seat height 40 cm. GROUND FLOOR Door width 72 cm with glass panels as with door leading to dining area. One two seater double recliner sofa. Two matching single chairs. All at 50cm height from floor. One wooden coffee table with drawer 50cm height. Built in cupboards surround gas fireplace and mantle to 50cm height. Separate wooden dresser, 78 x 95 with fixed mirror overhead. One three piece radio CD player with remote. One 42 inch TV; Sky box with remote; DVD with remote. Two way light switch to kitchen ; two way light switch to lounge. However this can be over ridden by following instructions on Page 5/6 (Override).This contained in instruction Manual Folder.
