Outdoor Education Suggested Packing List Please put your name on everything! Bring old clothes that you don’t mind getting wet and dirty! Camp suggests packing sleeping gear in a garbage bag, clearly labeled with students’ name. Another labeled garbage bag should be packed in luggage for getting gear home. Bedding Sleeping bag and blanket Twin size fitted sheet Pillow and pillow case, if desired. Clothing 2 pairs of shoes – make sure they are comfy! Many pair of socks – it’s nice to put on dry socks if your feet get wet 1 shirt and pair of pants per day, plus 1 extra set Warm jacket, extra sweaters and sweatshirts Hat Raingear Raincoat or poncho – VERY, VERY important – we go rain or shine! Winter Warm hat that covers the ears Warm, waterproof boots Snow pants Extra socks, mittens, gloves, scarf Toiletries Washcloth and towel Soap and shampoo Toothbrush and toothpaste Comb or brush General Flashlight Large plastic bag for dirty clothes Medications- Give to teachers before departing school Optional Fishing Pole – ask teachers first Camera - clearly labeled Bug Lotion - no sprays PLEASE DO NOT BRING Food (Candy, gum, etc.) Radios/mp3 players/electronic games Knives, axes Matches Money Cell Phones Blow dryers/curling irons Firearms/archery equipment
