It overwrites every single track on the hard drive with "00". Even HPA/DCO or other data area which are not able to load, can be erased all together. [ Erase ] 5. Secure Erase ↓ Secure Erase HDD Link to PC & Write-Protect Output read-only log to PC. ※ How to Use PC-Link 1) Firstly, connect one end of USB3.0 cable to USB port of PC. Connector the other side of the cable to PC port of the duplicator. (USB3.0-Link to PC) 2) Select function table “7. HDD Link To PC” and click “OK” to enter PC-Link mode. The screen will show the dialogue for confirming again, “Are you sure” to exit. PC-Link ↓ Are You Sure? Press “OK” key again. The system screen will exit back to function 7. Compare Compare data bit-by-bit between source and copied targets. 3. Show HDD’s basic information such as HDD model name and capacity. 5.2.1 Update BIOS Update the system firmware via one BIOS HDD. 5. Show information of the duplicator system, including controller model number and software version. 6.1.1 System and Files Set to copy source HDD's data area only. 6.1.2 ALL Partitions Set to copy partitions areas of the source. 6.1 Copy Area 6.1.3 Whole HDD Set to copy the whole source HDD. 6.
