Stainless Steel Sinks VOGT Stainless Steel Sinks are made of 304 series stainless steel material with 18/10 chromenickel content for extra durability and rust resistance. Like most other high-quality products, VOGT sinks require basic care to maintain their initial luster and functionality.

To maintain a VOGT sink, clean it thoroughly after every use rinsing with mild soap and warm water. It’s important to keep the sink free of any standing water by wiping dry after every use to prevent mineral deposit build-up. For additional preventive cleaning, rub lightly with a soft cloth in the direction of grain lines on a regular basis. Scratches: Stainless steel material is susceptible to scratching. Over time, multitude of minor scratches on the sink surface blend into the natural grain of the sink and create an attractive mature look of the sink. VOGT offers stainless steel grids that provide effective protection against excessive scratching of the bowl’s bottom. Rusting and Spots: Stainless steel material does not rust. Any rust spots that appear on the sink’s surface are caused by iron particles coming from external sources such as rusted utensils and pots. Any stubborn stains should be removed by scrubbing in the direction of the grain with a mild abrasive.

Hard, mineral-rich water can cause white calcium build-up on your sink surface. Clean any mineral deposit built up over time with a mild solution of vinegar and water followed by a thorough rinsing with water. To maintain a VOGT stainless steel grid, clean it thoroughly with mild soap and rinse after each use. Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents, scouring pads and other harsh substances.
Please Do Not: Leave standing water, steel cookware, utensils, rubber mats, sponges or cleaning pads in the sink for lengthy periods. Use steel wool or scrub pads as they damage the sink surface and cause discoloration. Model: TERNITZ 18R

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
VOGT INDUSTRIES (“VOGT”) strongly recommends professional countertop installers for sink installation and licensed/experienced professionals for plumbing installation and is not responsible for damage to the countertop or sink during installation (please see VOGT warranty for details).
Topmount Sinks Topmount sinks are installed from above the countertop and sealed to the top of the counter.
Undermount Sinks
1. Unpack the new sink and check the contents of the materials supplied: sink, strainer(s) and cutout template
Undermount sinks are installed from below the countertop. The instructions that follow are for installing a VOGT sink in a solid surface countertop only.
2. Inspect the sink for damage. Do not install a damaged unit.

3. Make sure the cutout template is the same size as the sink. Place template in a desired position on your countertop.

Trace the outline of the template and cut the countertop according to the outline using appropriate cutting tools. Please note: template is to be used as a guide only. Use actual physical sink to ensure accurate cutout.

Put mounting clips into position on the sink at evenly spaced intervals. Apply continuous bead of silicone sealant under the sink edge.
5. Drill holes for the undermount clips on the underside of the countertop approximately 1” from the cutout edge. Holes should be evenly spaced approximately 6” to 8” apart starting from every corner. It is recommended to install a faucet at this point before installing the sink.
6. Lower the sink into the cutout hole. Fix the sink by tightening mounting clips with the screwdriver.
6. Clean the top flange of the sink making sure that the area is smooth and free of grease. Apply continuous bead of silicone caulk evenly on top of the sink flange and position the bowl in the countertop.
7. Wipe away excess silicone caulk with damp cloth. Make proper water and waste pipe connections.

VOGT WARRANTY!

All VOGT INDUSTRIES (“VOGT”) stainless steel sinks feature LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY. VOGT warrants the product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a “lifetime”. This warranty extends to the original owner for personal household use with proof of purchase from VOGT or VOGT dealer and is not transferable to a subsequent owner. The only acceptable proof of purchase is the original dated sales receipt. Subject to the Warranty Service provision below, any Product reported to the authorized dealer or to VOGT as being defective within the warranty period will be repaired or replaced (with a product of equal value) at the option of VOGT. VOGT reserves the right to inspect any sink reported to be defective prior to replacement of the sink. Replacement cost excludes transportation and any labour costs for the removal or reinstallation. Neither the distributor, nor authorized VOGT dealer, nor any other person has been authorized to make any affirmation, representation, or warranty other than those contained in this warranty. VOGT reserves the right to modify this warranty at any time, it being understood that such modifications will not alter the warrant conditions applicable at the time of sale of the products in question. Limitations: This warranty shall not apply to instances of incorrect operating procedures, breakages or damages caused by fault through improper handling, installation, carelessness, abuse, misuse, misapplication, commercial application, improper maintenance/cleaning or alteration of the Product, scratches due to use, normal wear and tear, as well as chemical or natural corrosion, accident, fire, flood, an act of God, or any other casualty. Avoid abrasive cleaners, steel wools, and harsh chemicals as these will scratch, corrode and damage the product, and void this warranty. Warranty does not cover outdoor use. The owner of the Product covered by the present warranty is entirely responsible for its proper installation and any applicable plumbing or electrical wiring. VOGT neither installs nor supervises the installation nor hires a contractor for this purpose; consequently, VOGT cannot be held responsible for any default, breakage, or damages caused thereby or resulting thereof, either directly or indirectly. This warranty does not apply to Products that have not been installed or operated in accordance with instructions supplied by VOGT and all applicable rules, regulations, and legislation pertaining to such installations. This warranty does not apply unless VOGT Product is installed by fully insured and fully licensed professionals. VOGT strongly recommends that such licensed professionals have experience in the installation of similar bathroom and kitchen products. VOGT warranty obligation shall be discharged upon tender of replacement or repair. The customer's refusal to accept the tender terminates VOGT warranty obligations. In any case, VOGT cannot be held liable for any amount over and above the purchase price paid for the Product by the owner, contractor, or builder. Commercial Limitations: In addition to the above conditions and limitations, the warranty period for products installed for commercial applications or used in commercial ventures is one (1) year from the initial date of purchase by the owner, contractor, or builder from VOGT or an authorized VOGT dealer. Exclusions Under This Warranty: All accessories (strainers, waste fittings, bottom grids, etc.) that accompany the stainless steel sink are warranted against manufacturing defects for up to one (1) year from the initial date of purchase by the original owner from VOGT or an authorized VOGT dealer.
