Oxygen Cylinder and Valve Assembly P/N: B42365-1 The most important thing we build is trust The Cobham Cylinder and Valve Assembly (part number B42365-1) is a component of aircraft gaseous emergency oxygen systems. This assembly has been approved for installation on commercial aircraft. The carbon fiber, full composite (CFFC) cylinder has a 15 year service life and offers a 16 lb. weight saving over a conventional steel cylinder. The valve assembly slow-opening feature maximizes oxygen safety, and it has a safety relief device for overboard discharge, filtered inlet/outlet ports, and an integral pressure gage. Quality Service Cobham’s factory-trained technicians evaluate, clean, overhaul and service all products. Expertise, use of approved parts and up-to-date repair documentation are key advantages to Cobham’s overhaul services. • 24/7 AOG service • FAA, EASA, DOT approved Key Features Product Interfaces • Lightweight carbon composite cylinder • Functionally interchangeable with steel Outlet Port CGA-540 .903-14NGO-RH ext thread • 5-year hydrostatic test frequency Safety Outlet Port MS33649-05 (AS5202-05) • Integral on-off valve assembly PRESSURE GAUGE SAFETY OUTLET PORT Specifications Operating Pressure 0 to1,850 psig @ 70 deg F (0 to 128 barg @ 21 deg C) Burst Pressure 6,290 psig (434 barg) Proof Pressure 3,085 psig (213 barg) Media Gaseous Oxygen per MIL-PRF-27210 Materials Hand Valve Brass and stainless steel Oxygen compatible silicone O-rings Cylinder Aluminum alloy, 6061-T6 liner T700 Carbon fiber overwrap Internal Volume 115 cubic feet (3.26m3) Oxygen @ 1,850 psig (128 barg), 70 deg F (21 deg C) Weight 19.6 lbs maximum empty (8.9 kg) 29.5 lbs maximum full (13.4 kg) 1.7 (42) 1.3 (33) All dimensions in inch (mm) OUTLET PORT Ø 1.7 (43) 28.5 (724) 33.1 MAX 29.0 (841) (737) 80˚± 1˚ Cylinder Certification DOT-E 11194 and DOT-CFFC Operating Environment Temperature -65 to 160 deg F (-54 to 71 deg C) Shock 6 g operational, 20 g crash Vibration 9.5 Grms each axis Ø 8.0 (203) Ø 9.3 (235) BRACKET INTERFACE ENVELOPE For further information please contact: Cobham Life Support 10 Cobham Drive Orchard Park, NY 14127 USA Tel: +1 (716) 662 0006 Fax: +1 (716) 662 0747 200-003-902 Rev A Carleton Technologies Inc. is doing business as Cobham Life Support.
