Applications X-100FWA The P Audio X-100FWA is a bi-amplified small format powered loudspeaker system. The basic system is a two way design that features a 6.5 inch (165mm) low frequency driver with a Kevlar based cone. The high frequency section is a neodymium based soft dome tweeter designed for excellent time domain response in the upper vocal range. This high frequency transducer is a 1.25 inch (31.7mm) format that also uses ultra high temperature voice coil technology. The X-100FWA features a high peak (burst) power module capable of delivering over 160 watts of burst power to the system. This additional headroom allows the system to product a very wide range of dynamic signals. The pre amplifier section features both line input as well a line through XLR connectors as well as a 6.3mm microphone level input. The X-100FWA requires 220 volts at 50Hz and is designed for countries where this mains voltage and frequency are standard. The X-100FWA is an injection molded enclosure that utilizes high impact polycarbonate resins to provide a very cosmetic but rugged design. The enclosure may be ordered in either a grey or white color to match installation requirements. The metal grill provides excellent protection for the system transducers. The system may be mounted using a standard “U” bracket and also has a stand plate available. The X-100FWA is a very light weight full range bi amplified system that is ideal for a wide variety of both portable and installed applications.
