INTRODUCTION BATTERY This digital pedometer displays steps taken, calories burned, distance traveled, and 15 days memory storage, among many other useful features. Also, the most important, could download your exercise data to the PC and some smart Phones. Please read this manual carefully before using this pedometer. We suggest you keep this manual for future reference. To keep your health and reduce chronic disease risk, we recommend you to take 10,000 steps a day. For an effective weight loss, the total steps should be between 12,000 and 15,000. If you want to achieve a higher fitness level, you are suggested to take at least 30,000 steps per day. Install the supplied button cell in first time use or replace it when consumed as below: 1. Take out the silicone clip from the unit as figure below: 2. Open the battery door by a coin or screwdriver (not supplied) as the figure below: 3. Install the button cell to unit as the figure below with polarity “+” face up. 4. Replace the battery door and silicone clip. IMPORTANTS: ~ Only 15 days record can be keep in the unit. ~ If the battery was consumed, your record will be erased. Always uploaded and keep the records in your Computer or cell phone. CARE; MAINTENANCE & CLEARING BATTERY PRECAUTIONS Follow these Battery Precaution when using a battery in this device: 1. Use only the size and type of battery specified. 2. Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the battery as indicated in the battery compartment. A reversed battery may cause damage to the device. 3. Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g. Alkaline and Carbon-zinc) or old batteries with fresh ones. 4. If the batteries in the device are consumed or the device is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent damage or injury from possible battery leakage. 5. Do not try to recharge the battery not intended to be recharged; it can overheat and rupture. (Follow battery manufacturer’s instructions.) 6. Do not dispose of battery in fire. Battery may explodes or leak. 7. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation. 8. This product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin/button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burn in just 2 hours and can lead to death.Keep new and used batteries away from children. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention. ~ Do not disassemble the pedometer. ~ Do not subject the device to extreme shocks. ~ Do not expose the device to strong chemicals such as gasoline, clean solvents, acetone, alcohol, or insect repellents, as they may damage the device's seal, case and finish. ~ Store the product in a dry place when you are not using it. ~ To avoid accidental strangulation, keep the pedometer out of children reach. ~ The operation environment of the pedometer must be free from stocks, magnetic fields, electrical noise and strong vibration. ~ Do not immerse the product in water as this will result in damage to it. ~ It could be cleaned with a lightly moistened cloth. Apply mild soap to the area if there are stubborn stains or marks. BASIC OPERATION 1. Indicators on the display 3. Exercise intensity meter: Low electrical indicator When the power of the battery is less than 20%, it will appear on the display. Replace the battery as soon as possible. 12 Hour System Goal meter Each bar (Total 10 bars) equal 10% completed target steps. The meter on the right of display is the Exercise intensity meter, it will refresh every 5 seconds to shows the running speed as below: BAR Goal Indicator Appear if target was set. Sleep Mode: Software installations: To save battery power, Pedometer will enter into sleep mode automatically as follows: ~ BT Paired successful in first time, the Pedometer will enter to sleep mode if idle more than 30 minutes. ~ If start use, the Pedometer will enter to sleep mode if idle more than 12 minutes. ~ If no any data stored in the pedometer, it will enter to sleep mode if idle more than 20 seconds. ~ After synchronizing data, the Pedometer will enter to sleep mode immediately. ~ If the Pedometer entered to sleep mode, the display will be blank. Shock or tap the display to wake up. 1. Insert the supplied USB dongle to the USB Port on your computer, wait until the driver installed automatically. 2. Insert the supplied disc to the CD/DVD Driver on your computer: ~ Wait a few seconds, a small window will appear on the computer’s screen. ~ Left click the “Open the folder to view the file”; a new small window will pop up. ~ Double Left click “CC 427”; the Setup Wizard will appear. ~ Install it to your computer as the on screen instructions. Note: Computer system compatible: Windows XP, Vista, Win 7 and Win 8 5. Data storage Pedometer will automatically record intraday data each 30 minutes, and will store the past 15 day’s record. 3. After installed the supplied software to the computer, a short cut icon “CC427” will appear on the screen as follow: Note: Pedometer will automatic reset your progress of completed target and other daily data at 12:00 P.M. Your exercise data will not be deleted when automatic reset. Only when it is uploaded on APP, user can delete it. The time of automatic reset is same with your mobile devices. ~ Double click the desired Pedometer address (if more than one Pedometers was searched, more than one address will be shows) as the figure on right, a small window “Connect” will pop up. ~ Double click the icon to open it, the follows picture will appear: ~ Click the “Refresh” button on it, the follows picture and “Searching Device …. ” will appear on the screen. Wait until the computer searched the available Pedometers: ~ Click the “Connect” to start connecting. Wait a few seconds until it is connected. The follows picture will appear: Connect and upload the record to Smart Phone ~ Enter your personal information, synchronizing; read, edit the data as the screen instruction as : Setting: Enter to setting menu Device: To read the list of searched Pedometers. : To read the exercise record : To read the exercise record in chart : Enter to setting menu Sync: Synchronizing the data between the Pedometer and Computer App installations: 1. Download the application (apps) “Bluetooth Activity Tracker” from iPhone Store or “Craig Activity Tracker” from Google Play as the table below then install it in your smart phone. Compatible phones: Notes: ~ When synchronize to computer, make sure the Pedometer is not in sleep mode. If it is in sleep mode. Shock or tap to wake it up. ~ A Pedometer can synchronize to one computer only. ~ When synchronize to computer, the clock on the Pedometer will be update automatically. 2. After installed , the short cut icon “Bluetooth Activity Tracker” will appear on your phone's screen as follow: 4. Click the “Refresh” button on it, Wait until the phone searched the available Pedometers: 3. Turn on the BT function of the phone then click/tap the icon to open it, the follows picture will appear: 5. Double click the desired Pedometer address to start connecting (if more than one Pedometer was searched, more than one address will be shows). Wait a few seconds until it is connected.
