The DC550D’s embedded conditional access module enables operators to deploy a cost effective, secure video decryption solution. The cost and complexity of upgrading your network to use CableCARDTM is eliminated by using Pace’s embedded security set-top boxes. The Tango set-top box provides cable operators a robust, secure platform for authorization entitlements, code download, billing system messages and signaling through an out of band messaging system. The Tango platform runs native electronic program guide applications commonly found at today’s cable systems including VOD, or next generation Tru2wayTM applications.
