Introduction The Reznor Platform 125 series is a new range of packaged Air Conditioning units, providing cooling and heating. They have been developed utilising the proven engineering expertise gained by Reznor, with over 125 years experience of manufacturing HVAC equipment. In order to maintain comfort conditions within a building along with air quality and humidity, a HVAC system must be able to deal with all climatic variables. Reznor’s range of rooftop units comprising models YDSA, YDHA & YDMA have been developed with these factors in mind. Make-up-air (Up To 100% Fresh Air) Combination of Make-upair and Recirculation Return Air (Up To 30% Fresh Air) The units are designed to handle both the make-up-air and space comfort load requirements. The units are designed to provide comfort Air Conditioning to single or multi-zone spaces. These applications are typically controlled by a room thermostat. (Mix of Fresh Air & Return Air) The units are designed to condition 100% fresh air in all climates. Ideal for supplying heating / cooling and make-up-air to large areas or to individual applications where the air extraction rates are significant. Units are sized to introduce slightly more outside air volume into the space than the extracted air volume. This make-up-air can provide a slight positive pressure to uniformly distribute the air throughout the building and eliminate air infiltration. Ideal for supplying 30-70% conditioned outside air volumes with mechanical cooling and heating, with the balance being recirculated air. Designed to handle space loads, these units can provide between 0 - 30% outside air volumes. 100% free cooling facility standard on all models within the YDHA range. 100% free cooling facility standard on all models within the YDSA range. Cooling High efficiency DX system with digital scroll compressors translates into lower operation costs especially if the unit is introducing fresh air during the warm summer months. The independent circuit design allows superior part load efficiency without the hassle of low ambient control. The digital capacity control reliably maintains a stable 21° - 23°C discharge air temperature during the spring, summer and autumn months from the pre-cool DX coil and primary DX coils. The independent reheat circuit then applies reheat back into the airstream as needed. The table below shows actual unit performance during autumn and summer conditions.
