First of all, fix bracket mount, then install XYwayCam unit (as photo at the Right). If any monitor in car, users are able to see front view and rear view by pressing MUTE bottom when connecting with AV out Cable. (Please refer to note 1, Instruction of Mute Button). Paste 3M Twin adhesive sticker on windshield and mounting board. (Be sure the location before paste the adhesive) Step2: Connect the Power Cord(cigarette charger) Connect the power output of cigarette charger on Earth Cam and connect car power adaptor in car. Earth cam power is on when the light of car power adaptor and green light on Earth Cam are on. (as photo at right) Step3: Connecting the GPS Cord Recommend place the GPS Antenna receiver is placed at the outside of car when connecting GPS (as photo at right). GPS antenna receiver is able to stick on cars and water-proof. Please install Earth cam before make sure the installation place. Please install Earth Cam tightly. XYWAY Tech. Company is not responsible for the damages when Earth Cam fall down caused by external human force or inappropriate installation. z Please wait at least 24 hours for 3M twin adhesive to stick Earth Cam on windscreen and prevent Earth Cam falling down. z z z 2. Software Configuration Guide(File Maker) (3).Configuration purpose: Users can reset related parameter of ”XYwayCam Unit” via the configuration. Users can setup via the ”CSS_Setting_File Maker”, contained with SDHC card. Please refer to ”picture 1-1 File maker” for setting contents. (4).Configuration to XYwayCam Unit Steps: Step1: Please put the SDHC card provided by the set of product that contains CSS_Setting_File_Maker.exe program, into PC. * the set also provide SDHC card reader Step 2: Execute the program, and the screen will display as under below photo 1-1 File maker. Please set up information based on your own demand and record it in SDHC card in .ini file. Step 3: Put the SDHC card recorded with .ini file into the SDHC socket of ”XYwayCam Unit.” XYwayCam will start setting. It takes about 1~3 minutes. Step 4: Note the Led indication, which indicates whether setting up successfully into recording mode. Please refer to LED indication instroctions. (5).Notes of Configuration: The system is for SDHC standard. Please use the SDHC Reader for related setting. The setting of related parameters will affect total recording time of SDHC. Propose of using XYwayCam player: XYwayCam player is a software which users can use it to play the data record by “XYwayCam Unit “ in .cssf file, such as the inward and outward image of the car, the time and location, as well as driver’s behavior and name. (11). Step by step to use XYwayCam player: Step1: Make sure the video and audio data in the content of SDHC. Copy the data which you want to display into the computer. Step2: Click execution file “ Tracker.” Step3: Click data file in” Video Play Bar”and select the file you want to play. Step4: Click “Play” and start playing. At the same time, the unit will keep beeping with one long and two short beep as alarm. You must insert SDHC card in the XYwayCam to re-start it up.
