PadTV HD User Guide 1. Introduction PT115 lets you watch DVB-T anywhere you go using your Android Phone and Pad device. Enjoy Free to view channels without using your airtime, 3G/LTE or any internet connection! PadTV is a portable tuner that receives live, high-quality broadcast TV and transmits signal via WiFi to your Android Phone or Pad.
2. Connection Connect PadTV to your Android device micro usb port. Note: Your Android device mircro usb port must has USB-OTG function.
3. Installation Step 1: Download and install the Pad TV HD apk in your Android Device. You can find the apk in Google Play store by searching for Pad TV HD . Note: Your Android device system must be 4.1 or higher to use Pad TV HD apk. Step 2: Plug in the PadTV dongle to your Android device micro USB port. A pop up message will appear saying “Open PadTV HD when this USB device is connected?” click OK to start the application. If you check the “Use by default for this USB device” option, next time when you plug in the PadTV dongle, the application will start automatically.

4. First time usage:
For first time usage or if you want to update your TV channels, goto settings and click on Channel Scan.
Then select the country you are in and start the scanning.

The scanning will take a while, please be patient.
5. Main Menu: Click on the screen, main menu will be display.

6. TV Channels
All the TV channels PadTV discover will be list in the Live TV menu. You can select any channel and start watching live TV shows. When your are watching TV, you can slide up/down to change the volume; slide left/right to change TV Channel.

6.1. Add TV channel to Favorite list:
Click on
to add the current TV Channel to the Favorite list.
Favorite list contains all the TV Channels you mark as favorite for easy access. 6.2. EPG: You can access EPG from the main menu or from the EPG button in the TV Channel list.
You can slide up/down to check the TV program schedule, click on the day button to switch to different date. 5
Click on a schedule to display more info about this TV program. *Please note, if you want to see EPG for another TV Channel, you will need to switch to that TV Channel first.
6.3. Recording: PadTV HD comes with recording function, you can record your favorite TV programs and store them in your Android device.

To start recording, bring up the main menu when you are watching TV, then click on the to start recording, once recording the button will change to underneath. Click again to stop recording.

Hardware Decode
Turn on/off Hardware decode
Upgrade
Check to see if new version is available

7.1. Hardware Decode
Click on Hardware Decode to turn ON/OFF video hardware decoding function. Hardware decoding function use your mobile device CPU/GPU to decode video, depends on your mobile device, turn on this function may increase or decrease performance.
7.2. Upgrade If new upgrade is available, a change log will tell you what changes has been made in the new version. If you want to upgrade, just click on the upgrade button.
